Herd Mal-Instinct

Being part of a group, community, or family is not always safe. Where herds go, predators follow.

Creation Conundrum

Aliens: "Let’s create stronger but less intelligent creatures, and leave them to evolve over millions of years."
Millions of years later...
Aliens: "Now that we know which genes and codings work, i.e., survive, on this planet, we shall kill off all these creatures and use what gene-bases we need to bio-engineer a weaker but smarter species to serve us in this star-system.
Aliens make Humans, who wouldn't have been able to survive the initial stages of creation. Aliens evolve humans using select plant- and animal-origin DNA.
Et voilà, Pre-History is born.

Want Now, Pay Later

Remember when we were kids and didn't realize the value of hard-earned money? And then we grew up and found ourselves realizing all sorts of painful cash truths, and experiencing all sorts of humiliating financial facts? The long term matters, apparently. What we do for instant satisfaction today, we must pay for later.
Now about Climate Change...

The Curious Case of the One-Way Spread

Strange how dirt spreads but clean does not. Weird how rot jumps from one organic form to the next but health does not. You can stop cleaning one portion of the house and be certain that dirt and dust will accumulate and spread from there to other areas of your residence. However, after thoroughly cleaning one patch you can remain certain that it won’t spread to the rest of the house and clean everything else. Truly a ‘glitch in the Matrix’ when disease is transmissible but health is not. Bizarre how an infected person or thing can affect others, but that same person or thing cannot transmit or share being cured or immune to those around them.

Stealth

Some say the Tiger’s strength rests in fang and muscle, and the way it uses both to strike then drag.
Some say the Snake’s power resides in venom and speed, and the way it uses both to bite then strangle.
But for both the Tiger and the Snake, stealth comes first and everything else soon after.

Realization

Realization is a two-edged blade. It cuts into some of Life's grand Truths while cutting away a little bit of the secret Lies you never knew you created around yourself.

A Perilous Possibility

If the Wuhan-virus (ahem, “Alpha Variant”) really did come from a Chinese lab, one can’t help but wonder: What was the purpose/mission of releasing it in the first place? Even the Chinese have perished from it, adding a layer of complexity to the deed. Recent evidence has revealed that select Americans funded ‘gain of function’ research in China. So, officials from a powerful democratic first-world country have been working in league with leaders from a thoroughly communist nation, and yet they both suffered casualties following a ‘lab leak’? The rest of the world suffering from the virus could hint at the possibility of global government involvement in a “bio-engineered” multi-mutant viral research program, and the ‘non-voluntary global public testing campaign’, i.e. biowar (based on guerrilla and attrition strategies) associated with it. But something deeper might be at play, because something doesn’t quite add up...

[Deep breath] Could there be an ongoing Alien/Extra-terrestrial invasion on Earth where creatures that can look exactly like us have turned rogue and threatened the future of the human species? Did some politician somewhere say something stupid on a zoom call with an alien leader that made them go, “Aight, Ima comin’ over and it ain’t gonna end pretty.”? Was there an urgent and unavoidable global governmental crisis/consensus that prompted them to release a biochemical (aka covid-19) after secret scientists confirmed that it kills the shape-shifting human-mimicking aliens? And that they had to release said virus knowing there’ll be human collateral damage, but a 100% guaranteed casualty rate for the aliens among us? ...

For this to be plausible, we might have to investigate a similar american-China connection. We might have to ask ourselves, "How long were human officials working-with/researching/funding these aliens?’"Because some people must have known them long enough, or at least studied them for years, for them to even create a coronavirus that purportedly and definitively kills this off-world species. the virus will take many of us humans with it, and it sure as heck has, but did ‘shadow governments’ feel that was a price they were willing to pay to win a secret war against an even more secret alien race? If anything happens to me after this post, just know that I’m probably taking too long to make coffee.

Graceful Exit

I hope to die gracefully early before I get old and the headline reads: ‘Senior citizen dies after slipping on banana peel that he himself dropped, couldn't bend to pick up, and then forgot about it coz old age’.

Fly & Swim

When in the ocean, even a bird has to swim. Flight – one of life’s greatest gifts – is useless in water. But in the water, other gifts prevail. To swim into the great unknown, and to plumb its depths, is another gift entirely, one that the birds of the air can never fully fathom.
