Sonnet 1144 | Visvavictor

Istanbul to Alpha Centauri,
Cosmos courses in my corpuscles.
Religion, nation, stuff it all,
Benevolence makes the world livable.

Din, dünya, milliyet falan,
hiç umurumda değil.
Sen mutlu ol – bana yeter.
Scripture, constitution, god, government,
Nothing matters to me, except behavior.

The greatest iftar is
to break the fast of apathy,
with the feast of affection.
Sin humano no hay dios,
Where there is no kindness
there is no divine intervention.

Sapiens intervention is divine intervention,
There is nothing higher or more mighty.
When we are obliterated in lifting the fallen,
That’s the living manifestation of the almighty.

Combustion (Sonnet 1035) | Her Insan Ailem

You only see the light of the sun,
But not the combustion agony.
You only see the act of creation,
But not the pain of creativity.
You only see the light of genius,
But not the price of genius.
You only see the flight of triumph,
But not the tragedies one has to cross.
You are replenished by the monsoon rain,
You got no clue ‘bout the burden of the cloud.
You only see the glamor of my victory,
Not the heartbreaks I don’t scream out loud.
Everybody wants to shine, that is no glory.
Only those with character can bear combustion agony.

Sonnet 1010 | The Centurion Sermon

Life is but life’s religion,
Life is but life’s philosophy.
Books may be a part of life’s growth,
But no book is handbook to sensibility.
Take no book as life’s handbook,
Believe no being as life’s authority.
Neither me, nor any other figure,
Can be north star to your senility.
You are but an electric eel,
You don’t need second hand electricity.
Generate your own electric current,
And light up your part of humanity.
It is time to end all lies of authoritarianism,
And take the leap of living faith across divisionism.

First Language (The Sonnet) | Visvavictor

English is my second language,
My first language is love.
Neuroscience is my second sense,
My first sense is love.

Theology is my second faith,
My first faith is interfaith.
Philosophy is my second nature,
My first nature is to assimilate.

Analog is my second passion,
My first passion is dialogue.
Law is my second task, my first,
Is taking beings out of the bog.

All labels are second labels,
Our native label is human.
All tradition is second tradition,
Earth’s native tradition is compassion.

Get Well Soon (The Sonnet) | Visvavictor

“Now more than ever the hateful, intolerant, separatist bigots need our help, for they are ill, terribly ill. They are suffering from a condition, I call, Clinical Culturitis. So next time you see one, offer them a flower, and say – get well soon!”

“Get Well Soon (The Sonnet)

Upon absorbing all cultures into my blood,
I realize, the supreme culture is love.
Upon studying all scriptures as my own,
I realize, the supreme gospel is love.
Even after speaking six languages,
I say, the supreme language is love.
Upon observing all political ideologies,
I say, only ideal worth submission is love.
Unfolding the neural underpinnings of behavior,
I realize, seed of civilization is love.
Unraveling the cellular mysteries of life,
I realize, existence oughta be a record of love.
Tiny-brained know-it-alls will still yell,
their culture beats all, like some tipsy loon.
To which all I can say is – get well soon!”

DEI Sonnet | Visvavictor

I call it curiosity,
You call it science.
I call it integrity,
You call it defiance.
I call it contemplation,
You call it philosophy.
I call it accountability,
You call it sociology.
I call it correction,
You call it revolution.
I call it existence,
You call it inclusion.
All I see is humans
finally living a human life.
You with your brainy fancy
philosophize it as DEI.

Sonnet 1142 | Vande Vasudhaivam

Naskar the scientist says,
Science that lifts no human condition,
is not science but superstition.
Naskar the monk says,
Inclusion is illumination,
discrimination is delusion.

Naskar the philosopher says,
Better lose truth, than lose humanity –
Better lose truth, than lose love.
Naskar the sufi says,
Sense yourself till
you sense nothing but love.

Naskar the humanist says,
I don’t care about your belief or disbelief,
all I care about is your behavior with others.
Naskar the humanitarian says,
each human must earn their admission
into the human race with humane actions.

The spirit of love speaks of love,
no matter the faith and field.
Hate is but a mark of narrowness –
When you expand heart and soul,
whole world becomes kin and kith.

Sonnet 1106 | Vande Vasudhaivam

When an expert doesn’t know something,
They say, “I don’t know”, without tricks.
But an armchair intellectual knows it all,
Tiktok and Insta are their clinics.

An expert’s worth remains the same,
with or without Tiktok and Insta.
Armchair intellectuals are here today gone tomorrow,
with the tiniest algorithm change of social media.

My work will continue,
with or without social media.
My work will continue,
with or without internet.
My work will continue,
with or without electricity even,
so will the work of every expert sapiens.

Instant popularity vanishes just as instantly,
Today you are relevant, tomorrow you are gone.
Make a real contribution that isn’t overshadowed
by the next big tech revolution.

Love Who You Like (The Sonnet) | The Peace Testament

Love who you like,
Wear what you like.
Have kids when you like,
Above all, live as you like.
Only thing that matters is that,
You don’t fan the flames of hurt.
The only gospel of life is that,
There is no other gospel but love.
Obscene mind finds obscenity everywhere,
For the outside is but a reflection of the inside.
Less of the pomposity and more of the character,
That is how we shall harness our forces civilized.
I only know of one holiness, it’s called kindness.
Without it, all scriptures are scum,
and all courts are incognizant.

Vande Vasudhaivam Sonnet 68

Don’t be fooled by my attire,
You think of me a fool because
I want you to think of me a fool.
I am a behaviorist, and by behaving idiot
I study who’s true, who’s a tool.

I don’t dress all ancient like a monk,
yet monks come to hear the words I utter.
I don’t dress fancy like world leaders,
yet world leaders look to me for answer.

I don’t wear the uniform of law,
yet coppers study me to be better cops.
I never got to put on a white coat,
yet white coats study me to be better docs.

I am the person beyond the paradigm,
I am but a reflection of the best of humankind.
