Vande Vasudhaivam Sonnet 68
Don’t be fooled by my attire,
You think of me a fool because
I want you to think of me a fool.
I am a behaviorist, and by behaving idiot
I study who’s true, who’s a tool.
I don’t dress all ancient like a monk,
yet monks come to hear the words I utter.
I don’t dress fancy like world leaders,
yet world leaders look to me for answer.
I don’t wear the uniform of law,
yet coppers study me to be better cops.
I never got to put on a white coat,
yet white coats study me to be better docs.
I am the person beyond the paradigm,
I am but a reflection of the best of humankind.

Vagabond Poet (Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | Azad Earth Army: When The World Cries Blood
Bi’ gün değil, bugün,
bugün yaşamalı,
bugün parlamalı,
bugün uyanmalı,
bugün yürümeli.
Wear your wounds like crown,
not tomorrow, but today.
In front of your thunderous resolve,
intimidating clouds all fade away.
Where lips don’t speak, eyes do –
where eyes don’t speak, backbone do.
And once backbone has spoken, all the
militaries cannot render it untrue.
Poetry, my nationality,
words, my brethren.
To the world I’m monsoon,
for inside I’m barren.

Wear your wounds like crown,

“Brain is there to think first, then take a side…” Abhijit Naskar, Neurosonnets

Brain is there to think first,
then take a side,
but society teaches you to
pick a side first, then think alike.
In a world of flexible
spine and rigid mind,
muster an unbending
spine with expanding mind.

The God Commandment (Sonnet) – Abhijit Naskar, The God Sonnets

Love who you like,
stay single if you choose.
Have kids when you like,
or abort if you choose.
Keep god or not as you need,
convert to whatever you like.
There is no other grand design,
except a beautiful human mind.
What you believe or don’t is of no
consequence, one true god or another.
Imaginary friends are often therapeutic,
just don’t thrust your friend on another.
In my heart there is Mecca,
in my heart there is Bethlehem.
Humans come first, gods are disposable,
human choice is the God commandment.
