A Hundred Little Flames – Book Review
There are a few Indian authors for whom I wait patiently every year despite of my reaction to their latest book in my hand; Preeti Shenoy is one of them. I love reading her not because of her stories, but because of the way she writes those stories. A Hundred Little Flames seemed different from what she has written so far right when I saw the cover. Although I would still wish for her to write something like ‘The One You Cannot Have’ again, I was excited to turn the first page.

Without Merit – Book Review
So far, I have read just one book by Colleen Hoover aka CoHo i.e. November 9 and I absolutely loved reading it. When I read about this new book, I couldn’t resist buying it. Without Merit should sound like a good title for a romantic book, but to my surprise, this wasn’t. In fact, the theme here is much mature.

Turtles All the Way Down – Book Review
A new John Green Book? Now add a whole lot of exclamations to it and the excitement that should be familiar to you if you admire the guy. Like most of the people, I became a fan after reading, introspecting, pondering, crying and literally rewinding all the beautiful quotes of TFIOS (The Fault in Our Stars), and then eventually read all of his books and found him quite unique as an author. Turtles All the Way Down had his fans waiting for too long, but was it worth the wait?

Origin – Book Review
Dan Brown is one of my favorite authors, not because he is one of the best writers (he’s not!), but because he has these fascinating ideas that come up as really entertaining to me as a reader. Not to forget, the amount of research he does and the way he clearly declares how all the facts and places in his books are real makes him stand really tall for a fan like me. I have always enjoyed his books, despite of the similarities and therefore Origin was one of the most anticipated books of this...

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – Book Review
It took me long to finish Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Well, it doesn’t mean that the book was boring, but I had too many things going around. I just wish I had read this series back in the days when I always had ample of free time to read books.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – Book Review
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone???? This is the reaction I get! I know, I’m too late to the party, but when I saw the first Harry Potter movie, I didn’t even know it was based on a book. However, I loved it so much that I followed the series and ended up re-watching as well. I do know that the books are almost always better than the adaptations, but I really needed a break before I could read and enjoy the books as new.

Kindred Spirits – Book Review
Ever since I have read Eleanor and Park, Rainbow Rowell has become a dear author. I do have a few more books of her in my shelf, but Kindred Spirits was the thinnest of all (because it’s just a short story) and I was short of time due to several things at hand. Moreover, I had read ‘Star Wars’ somewhere and I love Star Wars.

End of Watch (Bill Hodges Trilogy #3) – Book Review
I loved the previous two installments of the Bill Hodges Trilogy. While Mr. Mercedes was a tightly knit thriller with Brady as a maniac killer, Finders Keepers had a nice story arc, something that reminded me of Misery. The book ended on a note that built great anticipation for End of Watch. I couldn’t wait to know what was happening with Brady Hartsfield.

Canvas of a Mind – Book Review
Purba is a dear blogger friend. I do read her blogs especially when it is a creative piece or a review of a movie we both liked. When she came up with the announcement of her forthcoming book Canvas of a Mind, I was quite excited because I loved her previous book ‘The Heart Listens to No One’, which is a collection of poetry (the first collection of poems I read and so far the only one). She was sweet enough to send me an autographed copy (I actually demanded it, but please keep it a secret)....
