My Favorite Iron Man Quotes

Iron Man 3 is in the theaters and I couldn't wait to see it. I'm not going to offer spoilers or anything. But I am offering a look back at the previous movies and my favorite quotes

Iron Man

Christine Everheart: "After all these years, Tony still has you picking up the dry cleaning."
Pepper Potts: "I do anything and everything Mr. Stark requires. Including occasionally taking out the trash.  Will that be all?"

Pepper's Gift to Tony: "Proof That Tony Stark Ha...

Monthly ebook roundup

This month I've been working on a 1K Writing and 1K Reading challenge.  I've hit most of my 1K reading days but failed in the 1K writing.  However, I have been writing and any day with writing is a good day.  Here are a few of the books I've read:

An Encounter at the Museum - A good anthology of stories all having a connection to the British Museum.  Authors are Claudia Dain, Deb Marlowe, Ava Stone, and Michelle Marcos.  I also read Claudia Dain's companion piece to...

Wednesday Wanderings

Welcome to Wednesday Wanderings.

I'll be posting images of the things I'm doing.  With the weather acting like a yo-yo, I haven't left my neighborhood. This weeks pictures are of my neighbor's Dogwood tree and one of my Azalea bushes.

What I've Been Reading

I have my usual monthly post at Authors by Moonlight.  Stop by and tell me your favorite Spring Break activities.
Here is what I've read in February and March.

eBooks

Zombies vs. Unicorns edited by Holly Black -  This was a book club selection and led to a wonderful discussion full of laughter. But the stories are very off the wall and not of the normal variety.

Wild Invitation by Nalini Singh - This is an anthology with 4 stories.  Two are old favorites with two ne...

Sneak Peak Sunday

Since today is my birthday, I thought I'd give you all a present and participate in Sneak Peak Sunday. Below you'll find 6 paragraphs of my current WIP Amends of Shade and Sunlight.

Chapter Two

Holle dropped the stick into the trashcan. That was the third test. How could they all be purple? The box says the line should be red or blue.

Stupid genetics.

Pregnant. She had to be pregnant given the nausea, exhausted days, headaches and sore breasts. There was no other explanation.

As a young gi...

Welcome to 2013

Welcome to a new year. Time to let go of the past and embrace the future. There is nothing spectacular to the actual day January 1. And yet it possesses great mental empowerment.  The heavy burdens of the past year fall away as you replace calendars or open a new folder to save 2013 tax receipts.  You get to say "This is the year I will...."  and you have 365 days to fulfill that wish. Now is the time to adopt a new outlook and change your life.  No more waiting....

The Next Big Thing

Authors always have stories they are working on.  But rarely do we get the chance to talk about our Works in Progress (WiP) before they are ready for publication. Thanks to M. S. Spencer, I have the chance to talk about what I'm working on through The Next Big Thing Blog Hop.  Please check out M. S.'s post about Mai Tais and Mayhem: Murder at Mote Marine.

I have three stories at the top of my WiP list:

          Assassin's Soul
is a fantasy with romantic...
