My husband went to the grocery store on Sunday and came back with this:

Not for any reason other than he knows I like flowers.  It was especially nice to receive because I started running a fever while he was gone and felt horrible.

New Year, New Office Chair

For Christmas, I received (bought myself) a new office chair.  Here it is in place of honor in front of my writing desk.

Shopping - Cute Shoes

I dislike shopping in general and in particular around the November/December time frame.  Too many people and too much negativity.  But this year my hubby talked me into checking out the discount outlets near my parent's house.  We went Saturday night when most people were leaving and I had a good time - plus some Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream.

This weekend is my hubby's work Christmas party and I needed new shoes.  I found these on sale at the Bass outlet.
