Spring is upon us in North Carolina. I can tell by the yellow-green pollen everywhere. Now is not the time to be washing your car. But the warm weather makes it the perfect time to be out in the garden. My garden at my current house consists of flowers and bushes.  I had a vegetable garden at my previous house but we decided there was too much work in maintaining the soil every year.
