PULSE in Mass Market

OR you can get PULSE, be entertained for eight hours, lose weight (you won't be getting up to eat) and feel better about yourself AND have a smile on your face because the b...

Avatar was OK, but I have more than a few complaints

I'm going to start my review by stating that I DID enjoy the movie. It entertained me for three hours. I'll also say that I really enjoyed the well thought out world of Pandora and the creatures that populated that world. The way that the Na'vi could connect with the creatures was not only awesome but was a reflection of the "sky people" (humans) mech technology. In a way, both civilizations had similar tech, but one was mechanical and the other was biological. All good. But that's where my p...

Proof that I'm a geek
A few weeks ago, my friend Walter Elly approached me about a Star Wars projects called Star Wars Uncut. Here's how it works: Star Wars - A New Hope, was cut up into 1500-ish 14 second chunks. Fans claim the chunks, remake them, and upload. When all the chunks are finished we'll have a full length Star Wars movie, remade 100% by fans.

7th Son Arrives!
I don't know about you all, but I've been looking forward to 7th SON by J.C. Hutchins since I had the privilege of reading and blurbing his last novel, PERSONAL EFFECTS: DARK ART. As you can see, the cover is amazing and the story (which is also available as a 100% free podcast novel at www.jchutchins.net).
And if all that wasn't enough to convince you this novel is worth sinking your teeth into, check out this FREE 10 chapter sample in PDF format. Be warned, if you open that PDF you'll end u...

PULSE Mass Market Edition Cover Unveiled
Huzzah! The cover for the mass market edition of PULSE has just been sent to me and it is beautiful. AND its an improvement on the hard cover edition as well. Below are two images of the cover (click on them to see a larger size).
Here's a high resolution copy of the front cover. You'll see that a cool tagline has been added to the top: SOME LEGENDS NEVER DIE...WITHOUT A FIGHT. The full Hydra image is now visible. AND the two soldiers have been removed, which is a good thing.
And here is the fu...

ThinkHero.com Reviews Pulse! (Video)
Okay, so ThinkHero.com is a website I frequent for reviews of my favorite (sci-fi, horror, super hero) movies, TV shows, video games, etc...but they had never done a novel before. So, naturally, I suggested it and they agreed. The book was read and reviewed by Beckett, who I now know has exceptional taste. Thanks to Beckett and Dennis at ThinkHero for making this happen.

Behind the Paranormal Interview

I had the chance to speak to my friends Paul and Ben Eno of BEHIND THE PARANORMAL for the second time this past Sunday. We chatted about sea and lake monsters (including the New England Sea Serpent featured in Kronos), recent creature sightings such as the Muck Monster and Panama Gollum and the creatures featured in PULSE and the upcoming INSTINCT. This is a really fun interview, so give it a listen: http://www.behindtheparanormal.com/mp3/WOON/PARA1004.mp3
