Writer's Block
In the past few weeks I have developed a curious case of writer's block. That's not to say I've been unproductive. I've already finished two novels since December 2009, published an e-book and marketed the release of PULSE in mass market and INSTINCT in hard cover. Then there is all those other small projects in the works (BENEATH hard cover special release, comics, iPhone apps, etc). And from the 8th of July to the 11th I was in NYC at Thrillerfest. I came home eager to get back to work...

Thrillerfest 2010
I returned from Thrillerfest in New York City on Sunday feeling exhausted (three nights in a row with 4 – 5 hours of sleep can do that) but also charged up and full of ideas. I served on a panel about audiobooks, e-books and vooks along with two other authors (one being the first Vook author) the head of Audible, a senior marketing gal for the Nook/bn.com, the owner of scribd.com and a senior editor for a big publisher (sorry for the lack of names, I'm feeling lazy…and tired) and I think I l...

What ELSE is next?
Seriously? You expect me to do more than sell 14 novels this year? I do this on my own, you know. Fine, if you want to be like that, here's what else, aside from the aforementioned novels, you can look forward to from the Jeremyverse.

What's next?
I get asked this question a lot. When's the next book coming out? Are you writing sequels to any books? What are you working on now?
In an attempt to answer all these questions, I'm going to post a quick reply here, and then post new blog posts detailing each of the projects listed in this post.

How Hollywood is Destroying my Postmodern Love Affair with 80s Pop Culture
I'm a child of the eighties. That's not to say I was born in the eighties. I wasn't. What I mean is that my formative child rearing years stretched between 1980, when I was six and 1989, when I was (I hate math) fifteen.

Will the Zombie Bubble Burst?
As fond as I am of the brain craving masses and their penchant for Armageddon, I can't help wondering if they're overstaying their welcome. Before you start reach for my neck, let me explain. I have been a fan of zombie movies, stories and games for as long as I can remember. A few years ago, I blogged the question, "Why do I love zombies so much?" I couldn't get enough of them at the time and was given pop culture doses of zombie at regular intervals.

Goodbye Blogger, Hello Wordpress
As some of you may already know, Blogger has discontinued support for ftp websites. This is me. Today is the last day they're supporting the function and thus, this is my last post via Blogger. This also means that there will be a 1 - 2 month delay between this post and the next post. Why so long? I have a book to write!
Starting on Monday, May 3 I will begin work on my YA novel titled SOLOMON - THE DESCENT and am aiming to finish it by the end of the month, ma...

INSTINCT arrives TODAY!
INSTINCT is my most highly praised and best novel to date. We're once again following the exploits of the Chess Team, who are still super bad-ass, but I put them through the ringer with this one. Even if the series goes on for 20 books, some of the scars received in INSTINCT will still be visible. So check it out and prepare for an insane, dark and thrilling ride.
Buy it at B&N. Buy is on Amazon.

Here's what the story is about:
The president of the Un...

I'm also a fan of every single author inside this catalog.

DOWNLOAD THE CROSS POLLINATION CATALOG
And just like you, every Spring when the new round of awesomeness hits store shelves I find myself with a lot of unanswered questions. What are the release dates for the books I'm already itching to read? Who are the new authors I should check out? What are the stories about? Will my b...

Marketing 101
I think this is the most common question I'm asked by authors. And there is no easy answer. The list of potential marketing techniques is vast and there are books dedicated to the subject (don't ask me what they are, scan around and find what fits you best). So when I talk about HOW you should market your book, I'm not talking technique. Forget viral videos, listmania lists, podcasts, and the million other possibilities available to you and prepare for some three...
