StoryCasting Winners!

I decided to pick two winners from those who went over to StoryCasting to cast any of my stories.  It's a fun site, and just because the contest is over doesn't mean you can't continue to stop by and fill in who you think should play the roles in your favorite books.  You can search any author there.

And the winners are...

The Conversation Can Wait

I just posted this at the Riding blog, and feel so strongly about the subject that I'm copying it here.
How many of you talk or text on a cell phone while driving?  And if you do, what's your excuse for doing so?  Do you think it's safe?
It's not.
I don't have to tell you why it's not.  We're all adults.  We know better.  Texting and talking on a cell phone while driving is distracted driving.  But I do have to say this.  How dare you—how dare you—take the lives of others and your own, in hand b...

If you're into werewolves, stop by VampChix today and tomorrow.  Today is an interactive post featuring werewolf movies.  It's interactive because if you comment about a movie we don't list, I'll add it to the post.  Special, eh?  ;-)  Tomorrow we'll do an interactive post on werewolf books.  So stop by!

Thought I'd put this pic up.  Adam Lambert is the inspiration for my current vamp hero.  Tickets go on sale tomorrow for his concert here in MN.  Must.  Have!

You gotta love LOST

But why don't we get the cool promo like this in America?  Love this!  (anyone have an idea, when you embed a video, how to make it fit the screen?)

All hail, Hit Girl!
I gotta say it.  I loved this character, the actress who played her, the whole storyline for this kid.  I've heard the naysayers.  I know.  We shouldn't have to hear things like that come out of a kidlet's mouth.  But seriously?  This story is based on a comic book.  Get over it, people!  The 13 year old actress, Chloe Moretz owns this movie.  A perfect story arc, too.  She grew up knowing nothing but what her father taught her, and that was revenge.  She is almost emotion...

What's up next

Yesterday I finished SEDUCING THE VAMPIRE.  It was sort of like arriving at the end of a 50K dash (yes, a dash) heaving and bleeding out my ears.  I just barely made it across the finish line.  Some books just kick you over and over and make life very difficult.  That was that book.

Now I'm excited to jump into FOREVER VAMPIRE because I'm already in love with the hero, but I want to take a week and get some other things off my desk first.  Would like to plot out another Rogue Angel story and s...

New title

So I'm handing in the next story to follow HER VAMPIRE HUSBAND next week.  Just have a final read-through to do.  This one is SEDUCING THE VAMPIRE.  I think it rocks.  It'll be out January 2011. And yesterday my editor and I decided on the title for the story to follow that one in May 2011.  And since I love to play around with Photoshop and always like to make logos for my titles, here you go...  (I LOVE this title.  It's about the vampire who's lived in Faery all his life.)
