I think I found out about Smilebox on Facebook.  Just spent a few minutes playing around with it and made this fun video.  Seriously, I spent less than five minutes on this, and it's free.  I think I'll have to consider paying for the premium option for future books.  This is too easy.  I'm not sure how to not make it keep going after the 10th slide, so just quit watching after that.  ;-)  And certainly for future use I will use images that I own (had to slip in the actors who inspired my cha...

Got my copy of GOTHIC BEAUTY magazine yesterday.  (I put an ad in it for HVH, so they sent me a copy.  Nice!)  I love this magazine!  I wouldn't call myself goth, though certainly, had I known about the culture in high school I so would have went there.  :-)  I love the clothes mostly, so that's why the magazine appeals to me because it's all about the look.  It's a great source for me to get ideas for my characters too.  A skirt here, a dress there.  A really cool, freaky hairstyle.  Kinda p...

Just put up a link with images of hero and heroine for, as yet, untitled book that will come out some time in 2011.  (This is for the art dept.; I like to give them an idea of who I have in mind for the characters.)  In January 2011, Seducing The Vampire is out, then the next book is about Vail (vampire who grew up in Faery) and Lyric (vampiress).  No, my vampire will probably never pose like that, but I'm going for the face in this pic.  :-)

Author Copies

So, I've almost given away an entire case of HER VAMPIRE HUSBAND.  There are 48 books in one case.  That's a lot of books!  And I'm having fun doing it.  I get three cases of each book.  One case I tuck away in the basement storage for...I don't really know what for.  I guess I think I might need copies in some distant future.  You never know.  That leaves me with two boxes (96 copies) to give away.

Beautiful Creatures

I put up a new feature at my website today.  It's a very fast and dirty idea of what I will eventually have done by a professional web designer, but I wanted the bones of it up now to get readers' reactions.  I have named my overall 'world' BEAUTIFUL CREATURES.  That is, any paranormal story I write, even if it is placed in a series, ultimately falls under the same world.
