Jack Frost strikes again

Yes, I have a tendency to complain lately about living in MN.  I am so over snow!  But then the frost faeries come out (directed by Jal, the hero of A Kiss of Frost, of course) and they make the world deliciously enchanting.  And how can you be mad at this?

Coupon for Wicked Angels

Hey!  I'm oddly tickled that I've sold some copies of WICKED ANGELS already.  I had only expected those readers who had read DARK RAPTURE to be interested.

It is a stand-alone story, and while having read Dark Rapture might be good if you wanted to continue following the hero and heroine's story, it isn't necessary to getting into this one.  And while it was written a few years ago, my style hasn't changed much.  It's a great vampire story that weaves romance, rock n' roll, mystery, and horro...

Out this May...

Look what I just found at Amazon!  This one's out in May, and it's my second Rogue Angel.  I think they got a different model for Annja.  She looks more girlie, maybe a little young, too.  Not sure I like her in a skirt, either.  I don't think I put a skirt on her in the story.  But cool!  The Statue of Liberty!  (Though, it's not mentioned in the story.)  It is set in New York.  This one's about the search for the legendary Skull of Sidon.  Can't wait for you all to read it!

I've always known that Harlequin made their eBooks available to read on your cell phone, but I just discovered the place where you can get those 'mobile' downloads.  Here's a link to my books page at kobobooks.com

IMs and FB

I'm not sure, exactly, how the Facebook thing works when it shows that you're online and (possibly) using Facebook.  I think that if you never close out your browser (like me) that it shows you are always on at Facebook.  In reality, I might pop into Facebook ten minutes a day, a few minutes here and there.

I mention this because I get a lot of IMs via FB from people who must think I am online.  I usually try to respond, and if I'm not busy, I can chat a few lines.  Please don't be offended i...

Some days it is a wonder I get things done at all.  Maxwell has made it his duty to stake out real estate that effectively blocks my view of the work in progress and also silently screams, "Don't you see me!  I'm right here!  Play with me!  Toss my chewy mouse for me.  Don't just sit there all day moving your fingers on that keyboard thingie!"

Yes, I feel guilty.  So I get up and toss the chewy mouse and he chases it.

Five minutes later he's back.

Cats.  They really do rule the house.

Audio books at a discount

For anyone who listens to audio books I highly recommend GraphicAudio.  They do the Rogue Angel series, along with other action/adventurey stuff.  I love their CDs because the stories are told using an entire cast of narrators, not just one person.  And they have cool sound effects.  They currently have a bunch of Rogue Angels on sale for only $7.99 (down from $19.99).  Sorry, Swordsman's Legacy isn't on the list.  Bummer.  (But I have it already; it was a great listen.)  If you're looking fo...

That little voice

Sometimes, no matter what you have planned, you just have to drop everything and do what feels most compelling and urgent to you.  Here's an odd example: there are times I'll just feel some strange desire to go to Trader Joes.  Not for food, but for the drive.  It's a half hour drive one way.  And when I succumb to that urge, I realize, as I'm driving, that this is what I needed.  Car time to think about the story I'm working on.  (Ok, sure, groceries too, some times.)  I trust that weird imp...
