The BCC

BCC means Back Cover Copy.  Usually an author does not write the BCC (though, they can, and I have).  Sometimes the editor does not even write it.  It is oftentimes written by someone who has read the synopsis of the story.  Writing BCC is definitely some kind of art form.  I've done it for two of my books—FLAWLESS and GETAWAY GIRL—and I really appreciate the work that goes into crafting those two paragraphs that synopsize the entire story without giving away too much detail, while at the sam...

Books on Kindle

I've had a store at Amazon, featuring all my books, for some time now, but just today I was able to finally add the books in Kindle format.  I've created a different page with only Kindle versions on it (see right side column).  So check it out!

ANGEL SLAYER

ANGEL SLAYER is available in bookstores next week, but I'm going to introduce you to it this week because I am impatient.  And, I know you can get it at eHarlequin right now.  First a few picks:
The cover does not represent the hero, but it does give an overall 'milieu' for the story.  The hero does not have fluffy white wings, but he his ripped, and sexy as heck, and he does have a very cool blade (used for slaying angels).  To the left is my image of him (Chris Cornell, former and current...

Got some fun things today.  I designed the logo for my BEAUTIFUL CREATURES world then put it on a t-shirt at CafePress.  It turned out awesome!  But, dude, it's $30 (25 for shirt + 5 shipping) just for one shirt.  So I will not offer them for sale because seriously, who would pay that much for a tee shirt?  Maybe someday when I'm super-famous and fans are reading my stuff like Kenyon, then I'll think about it (and maybe find a cheaper place to sell them).

I also had cards made up with the log...

A note on the Nocturne Bites

More info about my books today!  I've been getting A LOT of emails asking where to find my short stories put out under the Nocturne Bites line: After The Kiss, Vampire's Tango, Racing The Moon.

These short stories are only put out in electronic format by my publisher.  (I know!  I'm sorry to those of you who do not like to read on the computer or have an electronic reader.)  It is just a particular line the publisher has and that is how the stories are sold.  Two paperback anthologies have bee...

Where to find my backlist titles

Another handy-dandy 'guide to Michele's stories' post.

As expected after HER VAMPIRE HUSBAND was released, a lot of new readers discovered me.  I hoped this would happen, and knew that it would because, up until this book, my paranormal romances have all been under the Silhouette Nocturne line.  Shelved in the Harlequin section of the bookstores, most paranormal romance readers are not even aware there are paranormals over in 'that section'.  So when they spied HVH in the regular romance sect...

Can I read Her Vampire Husband first?

I've seen a few conversations on Twitter and FB wondering if a person can read HER VAMPIRE HUSBAND without having read the first two books in the Wicked Games series, so I wanted to explain here.  No, you do not have to read either THE HIGHWAYMAN or MOON KISSED, before you read Her Vamp Hubbie.  They each are stand alone stories.  In all my books I tend to have characters from other books do walk-on parts, but never do you need to have read their story to get what's going on.

Basically, the pu...
