Day 9 – Meditation Challenge #DoMagick
Switching my meditation from evening to morning hasn’t been difficult at all. As a matter-of-fact, I still find myself doing my nightly before-bed meditations, too. It’s just so habitual. Anyway, this morning I took forty minutes and concentrated on dealing with writing group stuff and writing. Frank stopped by this afternoon to deal with some email for me because the Daemonolatry email was getting out of hand. Yesterday he cleaned up one of the other emails and the YouTube channel. Thank go...

Day 8: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick
I spent thirty minutes in meditation this morning – concentrating on getting stuff done at the office, then raced off to work. I did end up getting most of my work at the office done for the day but will have some stuff to finish up Monday morning. When I got home I spent the evening with my husband who I neglected from June to October of this year with all the events, conventions, etc…
I could have spent the evening answering email (there’s so much of it), but I’ve decided to let it go and e...

Day Seven: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick
Did thirty-five minutes of meditation this morning, focusing on writing. Of course, I found it hard to focus today because at two I had a dentist appointment that took almost two hours of my afternoon. That seems to be one of my procrastination issues. If I have too much to do, I tend to focus on the errands or appointments and have a hard time getting into my work. Probably because I lose track of time when I’m working and I hate being interrupted, especially when I’m on a roll. So I worry t...

Day Six: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick
Today I sat down and did thirty minutes of intent-setting meditation before heading to work. I didn’t get as much done yesterday as I wanted (seems to be the story of my life), and so today I felt motivated to catch up. The only problem — stuck at the day job. The day job is one of those things where you never catch up. The cycle of paperwork in and out is never ending. While reports and tasks have a schedule and deadlines, very rarely does it change month to month. The day job is predictabl...

Day Five: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick
This morning I enjoyed a nice, quiet, forty minute meditation before starting my day. But I also woke up in a crappy mood, a carryover from yesterday, which carried over from when I reconfigured my Sorath model on Sunday. So after today’s meditation, I reconfigured the model yet again. My bad mood dissipated within 45 minutes. It’s amazing how magick can have such immediate results. I still find myself pleasantly surprised by this.
That said, during this morning’s meditation my mind wandered...

Day Four: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick
This morning I didn’t have time to meditate before work since I woke up a bit late. So instead, I waited until I got to the office, closed my door, and managed thirty-five minutes of focusing on what needed to get done today. I got a lot done, of course. Kind of in a cranky mood today and not wanting to deal with people at all, so I left the office door closed all day. That’s my signal to the world to go away, and it was well received. No one bothered me. lol
I ran some errands after work and...

Day Three: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick
Today is my “Daemonolatry for Others” day. So this morning I woke up, had some coffee, then sat for thirty-four minutes (lost track of time) and focused on the present moment and shifted to what I needed to do today.
2 readings Email Orders A batch of divination devices + amulets Work on some magick for a client. Some domestic things I didn’t finish. Temple matters. While I knew that I may not finish all of it today, my goal was to get as much done as possible. I managed the readings, email...

Day Two: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick
Today is my domestic/spouse day. So I took thirty minutes this morning being present and telling myself it was okay to take a day and enjoy it with my husband. This obviously worked because we had a lovely day. We ran to the bank, did some yule shopping, stopped at the liquor store (had to restock the bar), went out to dinner, and then came home and hung out. It was rather lovely. And again – I got done what needed to be done.
Haha. If you have any ideas on how to make these posts more inter...

Day One – Meditation Challenge #DoMagick
I started this challenge this morning. I started my day with a thirty-minute meditation on being productive at the office. Basically, I sat there and imagined doing all the things I planned to do today, and as it turns out I got a lot done. My day flew by I was so busy. That said, there was nothing exciting or ground-breaking except that the idea that focusing on productivity and being in the present focusing on what one needs to do does actually make one more productive. Definitely no procra...
