(June 27, 2025) - Today, celebrated Nuyorican rapper and songstress Princess Nokia (Destiny Frasqueri) shares a new single “Drop Dead Gorgeous" via Artist House. The single is the first taste of an album to come. “Drop Dead Gorgeous” is a celebratory pop banger that’s pure youthful bliss. The song introduces the world of the forthcoming album capturing a specific sense of girlhood that Princess Nokia shapes for herself to create as she puts it, “a second chance at girlhood.” Princess Nokia shares, “‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’ is a salacious summer anthem that’s all about de-centering men and causing trouble with your girls. It creates a fantasy landscape where girls are lawless, summer is forever and Halloween is around the corner.”
The song is accompanied by a Sebastian Cabrera Chelin-directed music video featuring Princess Nokia celebrating a hot and sticky summer at a car wash, smoking weed and eating men's hearts. The single celebrates intentionally nurturing personal growth outside of the male gaze. She raps over pulsing synths with a compelling nonchalance: “We can do what we want, get a gun kind of summer/ Girlhood, girls bleed, mean girl, girl fun, girl books, girl code, girl hate, girl love/ Free the girl, let’s hope they all get divorced/ men suck, and they’re only getting worse.”
Princess Nokia rose to prominence around her debut studio album 1992 Deluxe that released to critical acclaim and led The Atlantic to proclaim Destiny as, “one of the most fascinating new forces in music.” Her follow up albums Everything Sucks and Everything is Beautiful also received high praise and established Destiny as a force to be reckoned with. Her latest EP i love you but this is goodbye continued to experiment with new sonic elements embracing poppier sensibilities. NEIL FRANCES CLUB NF Vol. 2 EP is out now, and is the next chapter in their dancefloor-driven series reimagining their catalog and live performances through a club-focused lens. If NEIL FRANCES is the duo's HQ for soulful electro-indie rock, then CLUB NF presents the recreational retreat: a shared space, mentally and physically, to celebrate the dance music that drives their craft. The distinction merits the moniker; these are different yet complementary, cross-pollinated musical outlets.
CLUB NF Vol. 2 follows the duo’s previous EP, CLUB NF VOL. 1, which featured new club-ready takes on fan-favorite songs, “dancing,” “Dumb Love,” and their Platinum-certified cover of “Music Sounds Better With You.”
Following North American support dates for RÜFÜS DU SOL this spring, the duo will take CLUB NF on tour this summer, including headline dates in Barcelona, Amsterdam, and more and festival appearances like Lollapalooza Paris & Berlin, Wilde Wiede Festival (Netherlands), Electric Castle Romania - and a landmark takeover of London’s iconic club Fabric, on 11th July. The show will offer fans an immersive club experience featuring all-new continuous sound, lighting, and stage production. A full list of dates can be found below.
As the stage show has grown, they've become more aware of the audience/performer dynamic, the rituals of song, applause, and so on, from which came a curiosity to design a streamlined set where the focal point shifts, fusing key NF moments with sounds beyond their catalog. "One that is seamless and can also utilize the benefits of a DJ set…you can insert other people's songs into the story you're telling," explains Gilfry. They cite LCD Soundsystem, Soulwax, and Chemical Brothers as north stars who've been able to shape-shift their iterations and straddle multiple worlds. Together, they build CLUB NF tracks with this setting in mind, instinctively applying what they've learned from touring the music, bouncing ideas back and forth on their rigs in the studio, and assembling in real-time within the parameters of performance. "It's a different way of writing. Because we have to be able to do it more or less live, we have to keep it simple," says Feller. "But within that simplicity, you can really boil down and distill what the real best bit of the song is, whether it's the bass line or the vocal stuff or the sample or whatever." Having the material deconstructed and "DAWless" (without a computer) gives them more freedom to improvise live and read the room sonically.

NEIL FRANCES first gained global attention when their cover of Stardust’s "Music Sounds Better With You” went viral, earning Platinum Certification in Australia and Gold in Canada. They released their debut album, There Is No Neil Frances, in 2022 with collaborations from Poolside, Benny Sings, and Grae, and followed up with their sophomore record, It’s All A Bit Fuzzy, with collaborations with DRAMA, St. Panther, Paw Paw Rod, and Dreamcastmoe in the fall of 2023. Gelli Haha’s stellar debut album Switcheroo is here today via Innovative Leisure. A shapeshifter, a sonic acrobat, a performer with one foot in the cosmos and the other in arthouse theatrics, Gelli Haha (pronounced Jelly-Haha) is a space for pure creative chaos that exists somewhere between Studio 54 and Area 51. Gelli’s music thrives on duality: playful but profound, tongue-in-cheek but sincere. Switcheroo is the soundtrack to the Gelliverse, a sensory adventure sphere created by Gelli.
With a shared taste for off-kilter pop and vintage gear, producer Sean Guerin (of De Lux) joined Gelli in turning freshly-formed demos into a high-voltage experiment, abandoning meticulous structure for something freer and more electrifying. Every song on Switcheroo makes use of a myriad of recording toys; wacky analog effects, such as the Eventide Harmonizer, MXR Pitch Transposer, and various Electrix units, fashion an intentionally flawed and strictly silly texture throughout the album. Switcheroo is an exercise in letting go, an inside joke turned theatrical spectacle.
Gelli Haha’s wild, prop-filled, choreographed live show has quickly become one of LA underground’s most sought after performances. The White Stripes are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their GRAMMY® Award-winning 2005 fifth studio album, Get Behind Me Satan, with today’s arrival of a limited-edition commemorative vinyl release. The 2LP edition – featuring one red and one clear disc, both with black wisps – is available now via Third Man Records.
Today also sees the premiere of a brand-new stop motion video for the Get Behind Me Satan standout track, “Red Rain,” streaming now on YouTube. The video, which took about 80 hours to create, is Executive produced by Audg Fenter and directed by Brooklyn, NY-based independent filmmaker Conor Callahan. The inventive animated visual utilized 5,980 miniature bricks “cemented” together using Royal Icing, a product commonly used for intricate cake and cookie decoration, as well as Super7’s recently released ReAction Figure 2-pack capturing Jack and Meg White in all their Get Behind Me Satan glory.

(August 8, Warner Records), an unabashed and uninhibited embrace of the pop genre that was so formative to Night. “As a kid I was obsessed with punk because of my dad, but when I got older my mom introduced me to the pop music that stuck with me forever and inspired a lot of this record, like Gwen Stefani and Madonna and Britney Spears,” Night’s songwriting gives language to the multilayered experience of women in the modern era, with unguarded honesty and the self-awareness and humor that’s been a trademark of her work since she founded The Regrettes at age 15. “Some of these songs make me want to cry, other songs make me want to dance; overall they fill whatever space I need them to.” says Night. It was summer in New York – things were hot and sweaty, and I was obsessed with a girl. I had the kind of crush where I would hear her in every song, smell her on every corner. It was visceral. I wanted any piece of her I could get. Sounds creepy but in like a fun, hot, gay way, I swear. We started this song as a bit of a joke since I was so far gone over someone that I had known for a couple of weeks. It was silly so we made it silly. Mainly produced by Alexis Kesselman (a New York City-based producer/songwriter whose credits include Suki Waterhouse and Joji), Parody of Pleasure came to life at Kesselman’s studio in her Hell’s Kitchen apartment. “I’d never worked with a female producer before, and it was game-changing for me,” says Night, who first linked up with Kesselman at a songwriting camp in Las Vegas in 2023. “We had so much fun and there was absolutely no judgment from her—I felt a level of safety and comfort that allowed me to be my most authentic self.”
Over the course of its 13 tracks, Parody of Pleasure reveals the multitudes contained within Night, from subversive humor to raw sensitivity to fearless self-possession, “Pity Party” offers a whirlwind glimpse at all the drama and havoc unfolding in her mind, which includes imposter syndrome, existential dread, anticipatory grief, spinning all these battling emotions into an electrifying anthem. The song gives the album its title (from the chorus: “It’s a parody of pleasure/Lips big and red like a clown/It’s all just a pity party/So cry for me or get out”). “After I wrote that lyric I kept repeating it in my head, and finally it clicked that the word ‘pop’ could be an acronym for ‘parody of pleasure,’” she says. “Right away I knew it was the perfect title for my version of a pop record, where a lot of the songs are about yearning for love and affection, or even just yearning for the chase of that.” Parody of Pleasure provides moments of pure euphoria as well, as Night channels the exhilaration of longing, lust, and obsession.
Reflecting on the making of Parody of Pleasure, Night notes that assuming complete creative control over the album profoundly reshaped her sense of self. “Reclaiming my creativity gave me real confidence and made me feel cool in a whole new way, and I think you can hear that in the music,” she says “I hope that everyone takes whatever they need from the record—but no matter what, I hope that it helps them to feel more love for themselves, because that’s what my favorite music has always done for me.”

Following a string of successful singles — ‘What Was That,’ ‘Man of the Year,’ and ‘Hammer’ — which have been steadily climbing the charts and are nearing 200 million streams even before the album’s release, the next step in Lorde’s artistic evolution has arrived. Co-produced by Lorde and Jim-E Stack, Lorde celebrated the release at Baby’s All Right in New York on Sunday - giving fans a sneak preview of the record.

Today, Tei Shi unveils her vibrant new single “222,” a bilingual summer anthem featuring fellow Colombian artist Loyal Lobos. The track serves as the latest offering from her forthcoming album Make believe I make believe, out this August 29th via Tei Shi LLC / The Orchard. Following the introspective “Best Be Leaving” and the defiant “Drop Dead”, “222” marks a continued evolution shaped by emotional growth and a transformative creative retreat that sparked the genesis of the new album, crafted with longtime collaborators Noah Beresin and Tommy English.
What started as a ruse between friends, about giving fake phone numbers to persistent suitors, blossomed into the now-infectious hook “222-2290.” The result is a bold celebration of independence, friendship, and pure joy. Blending dembow and perreo rhythms with dream pop and electronic textures, Tei Shi and Loyal Lobos flow between Spanish and English, channeling their shared Colombian heritage into a sound that’s genre-blurring, fun, and full of agency.
“‘222’ is a song about friendship, fun, and roaming free in the world,” Tei Shi shares. “It’s about rejecting male attention in exchange for joy and pleasure. We were laughing about giving out fake numbers, and ‘222-2290’ just stuck. From there, the track came together effortlessly—mixing our bilingualism with our love for electronic dream pop and nostalgic perreo.”
Accompanying the single is a surreal, sun-drenched video co-starring Tei Shi and Loyal Lobos, as conjoined twins causing mischief around Los Angeles. With striking coordinated looks and defiant charm, they embody the track’s themes of duality, sisterhood, and freedom, combining playfulness with power.
This Fall, Tei Shi will bring Make believe I make believe to the stage with a string of special performances, kicking off with a hometown show in Los Angeles on September 26th, followed by stops in New York on October 25th and San Francisco on November 20th. What We Have Now was recorded in her NYC home over the course of several years, and was co-produced with Kramer, who completed the LP at his studio in North Carolina in December 2024. What We Have Now is a love-letter to New York City, written by a breaking heart weathering the deep indigo night of a soul realizing dawn will release it from the dried tears of youth. There is no brighter or harsher wasteland of self-discovery than the one in which we see that childhood is a dream and the now is something we will have to fabricate alone, from those broken mirror shards of memories in service to a world that does not seem to know how to care for us any longer. Full of feeling and shepherded by Clara’s intensely honest vocals, these songs transcend place and time to share a universe of wonders beneath the hard-wrought questioning of the deeply human condition we are all living within.

Clara Joy is a songwriter full of melody and vision. These ‘home’ recordings were made by Clara in NYC between 2020 and 2024. The songs were then Arranged, Mixed & Mastered by Kramer in December 2024 in his Studio in the mountains of North Carolina.
Speaking of Clara, Kramer says that she is, "...what we have all been waiting for since the passing of Daniel Johnston - a new performer who sees and hears the world around her, agonizes over its endless parade of absurdities, and responds by setting out to create art that transcends itself and conveys the kind of love and optimism that helps us to survive the maelstroms. In short, Clara Joy's artistry is miraculous in every way, and in every sense of the word. It's embedded in her genes, and this debut LP bears only a hint of what's to come. There's just no telling where this brave young artist will take us."
