Press photo, credit Dollie Kyarn.July 2, 2025—Ethel Cain debuts a new song, “Fuck Me Eyes,” today, listen here and watch a visualizer here. The track is the latest from her forthcoming sophomore album, Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You , set for release August 8. Preorder the album here. “Continuing in the theme of high school anxieties, ‘Fuck Me Eyes’ (on top of being an homage to one of my favorite pop songs of all time, ‘Bette Davis Eyes’) is meant to be an ode to the girls who are perfect and have everything, yet carry the reputation of town slut,” says Cain creator Hayden Anhedönia. “The beautiful blonde who is just lonely and wants to be loved, that all the adults condemn to each other, who ultimately is the girl everyone simultaneously can’t stand and wants to be. I wrote the beginning of this song five years ago, making it the oldest demo for the record. As the story became more fleshed out, I realized it had a more relevant place on the album than I originally thought. This song represents Ethel’s complicated feelings for the girl she’s convinced has caught her crush’s eye, as well as her 16-year-old thoughts on the matter.”In June, Cain shared “ Nettles ” to widespread critical acclaim: The New York Times noted it “unfolds in a haze of memories, longing, pain and loss” while PAPER called it “a masterclass, finding her singing a gorgeous, heartbreaking love song over mournful bluegrass.”Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You serves as a prequel to Cain’s globally adored 2022 debut album Preacher’s Daughter and recounts the story of Ethel’s first love, Willoughby Tucker, and their humid, laden romance. Cain produced and recorded the album over the past year in her studios in Daleville, AL, Coraopolis, PA and Tallahassee, FL. The writing of the songs themselves spans her entire career as Ethel Cain, with some dating from the earliest days of the project and its mythmaking. Cain will celebrate the release with her massive Willoughby Tucker Forever tour across North America and Europe kicking off in August. The tour sold out completely upon on sale in March, with 170,000 tickets sold in just a few weeks. The run will see Cain headline New York’s Radio City Music Hall and Kings Theatre, two nights at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium, Berkeley’s Greek Theater, five nights at London’s Eventim Apollo, two nights at Paris’ L’Olympia and many more. See below for full tour routing and visit www.daughtersofcain.com for more information.Furthermore, Preacher’s Daughter debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart, #10 on the Billboard 200 and #10 overall in the U.K. following its first ever vinyl release on April 4. Order Preacher’s Daughter via Cain’s webstore here.Ethel Cain is the creation of Florida-born multidisciplinary artist Hayden Anhedönia. After years spent teaching herself to produce at home in the Florida panhandle and releasing various projects, Cain moved to Indiana and singlehandedly wrote, produced, recorded and mixed her acclaimed 2021 EP Inbred from the basement of the old church where she lived. Cain’s debut album Preacher’s Daughter, a multimedia work that took more than four years to assemble, was released in May 2022 to praise from The New York Times, NPR, Vogue, W Magazine, V Magazine and more, with many critics naming the album one of the best of the year. Cain has spent the years since playing sold out shows and packed festival sets around the world; walking in New York and Paris fashion weeks and collaborating with Givenchy, Miu Miu and Calvin Klein; and collaborating and sharing stages with Florence + the Machine, Mitski and more.

Richard Ashcroft announces new album 'Lovin' You' due 10/3 + joining Oasis on tour this Friday

ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM
LOVIN’ YOU DUE OCTOBER 3RD
JOINING OASIS ON EU/UK TOUR THIS FRIDAY

Lovin’ You
PRE-ORDER/SAVE: https://richardashcroft.lnk.to/LovinYouAlbum
(July 2nd, 2025) - Ahead of joining Oasis as a special guest on their EU/UK tour, Richard Ashcroft announces his forthcoming new album Lovin’ You due October 3rd. The announcement follows his most recent offering “Lover,” which interpolates Joan Armatrading’s classic “Love And Affection,” and finds Richard at the peak of his powers.
Not only did “Lover” earn the praise of the legendary songwriter herself, who said, “I love how [Richard] used my song and I love his song,” but it also sets the standard for an album that will encapsulate the many facets of his sound. Co-produced with Chris Potter and Emre Ramazanoglu, with additional production credits from Mirwais of Madonna fame on the album track “I’m A Rebel,” he dives into his classic string-soaked acoustic balladry and anthemic indie-rock, through to flashes of Americana and soul. Its themes are intimate and personal, dominated by love, romance and affecting messages of support for those struggling with life’s challenges.
Alongside a digital release, the album will be available for purchase in the form of a standard black and exclusive vinyl variants on his official store, Amazon UK and select independent stores.
A two-time Ivor Novello Award winner (Songwriter of the Year and Outstanding Contribution To British Music), Richard Ashcroft has become one of the most accomplished and influential songwriters around over the course of a career that spans three decades. His first chapter with The Verve reached a remarkable peak with Urban Hymns, a hit-laden set ("Bitter Sweet Symphony," "The Drugs Don’t Work," "Lucky Man," "Sonnet") which is one of the biggest selling albums in UK history with 11 x Platinum certifications. The band achieved a second #1 album with Forth and won three BRIT Awards.
His solo career continued that acclaim with his debut Alone With Everybody shooting to #1 and all five subsequent studio albums landing between #2 and #5. Between The Verve and his solo work, he has achieved three UK #1 albums and another five Top 10 records, plus a #1 single and five Top 10 hits.
He now prepares to join the Gallagher brothers on their highly anticipated tour this Friday, a nod to both Richard Ashcroft and Oasis’ mutual admiration that dates back to touring together before Oasis first broke through. Noel dedicated "Cast No Shadow" from (What's the Story) Morning Glory? to Richard, before Richard provided backing vocals on All Around The World from 1997’s Be Here Now. In 2021 Liam featured on a reworked version of Richard’s "C'mon People (We're Making It Now)."

Gillian Welch & David Rawlings Return To NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert
WATCH HERE
GRAMMY-WINNING 10TH STUDIO ALBUM WOODLAND OUT NOW

“There’s that harmony blend that no-one else can achieve besides these two.
They are so influential...”
-NPR Music
“The intuitive bond between the two musicians remains at the forefront of their terrific new album, full of quiet adventures and clear empathy.”
- Pitchfork
"The long-running Nashville duo offers new sonic moods and narrative modes on a fantastic LP… Welch and Rawlings have more to say than ever.”
- Rolling Stone
Today, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, whom the New York Times has hailed as “American folk masters,” returned to NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert to perform the songs “Empty Trainload Of Sky,” “Lawman,” and “Hashtag” off their 10th studio album Woodland , as well as their celebrated song “Revelator” off their 2001 album, Time (The Revelator). The performance served as victory lap for the duo who recently won the 2025 Best Folk Album GRAMMY for Woodland, performed on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and recently wrapped a 34-date headlining tour. Watch Gillian Welch and David Rawlings’s NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert here.
Welch and Rawlings have two upcoming festival dates before their tour of Texas in August. Their upcoming concerts in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio will be their first shows in Texas since 2018. In October they’ll tour the UK and Ireland. Tickets for all dates are on sale here.
Welch and Rawlings’ 10th studio album, Woodland , is out now on all formats. Woodland was named for and recorded at Welch and Rawlings’ own Woodland Sound Studios in Nashville, TN. Of the album and studio, they said, “Woodland is at the heart of everything we do and has been for the last twenty some years. The past four years were spent almost entirely within its walls, bringing it back to life after the 2020 tornado and making this record. The music is (songs are) a swirl of contradictions, emptiness, fullness, joy, grief, destruction, permanence. Now.” The new 10-song collection mingles full band tracks with intricate duet performances all tied together with the duo’s signature sound and lyricism and cements the pair’s iconoclastic position at the forefront of acoustic music. Woodland is the duo’s first album since 2020’s All the Good Times, a collection of covers and classic folk songs which earned the duo the 2021 GRAMMY Award for Best Folk Album, and their first album of new original music since 2017’s Poor David’s Almanack.
The vinyl edition of Woodland is mastered by David Rawlings directly from the original analog master tapes to his custom Neumann VMS-80 lathe. Acony Records is proud to be partnering with the all-new Paramount Pressing & Plating, a joint venture between Rawlings and esteemed plating craftsman Gary Salstrom, to produce superior vinyl records. Paramount Pressing, located in Denver, CO and built from the ground up from Salstrom's specifications, is dedicated to producing the highest quality vinyl records available, using state of the art Pheenix Alpha and Vinyl presses and the experience of some of the greatest record pressing engineers and record producers in the business.

PHILIP KING’S NEW COMPILATION CHARTING THE UNDERBELLY OF THE EPOCH-DEFINING SOUND OF THE SYNTHESISEROUT 11 JULY ON DOUBLE VINYL AND 2CD VIA NIGHT SCHOOL / SCHOOL DAZE RECORDS

“A warm-hearted, playful and sporadically dazzling tribute to the futurist dreams of yesteryear” – Uncut 8/10*
“All The Young Droids has something for all manner of vintage synth fiends” – 4/5* MOJO
“Given the remit of this collection, you’d be forgiven for anticipating a jumble of two-bit Human League and Gary Numan rip-offs. Thankfully this unexpectedly odd compilation delivers a whole lot more.” – The Wire
“… genuinely worth investigating” – Classic Pop
“This is the real deal.” - Moonbuilding

All The Young Droids: Junkshop Synth Pop 1978-1985 , a new compilation that charts the underbelly of the epoch-defining sound of the synthesiser in 80s popular music, is out on double vinyl and CD via School Daze / Night School Records on 11 July 2025.
Compiled by Philip King (previously seen compiling All The Young Droogs, Glitterbest and Boobs - The Junkshop Glam Discotheque ), the music here connects the dots between DIY synth enthusiasts grappling with new, cheap synthesisers at the tail-end of punk and wannabe, jobbing songwriters enthral to the new music pioneered by Gary Numan, Depeche Mode and Daniel Miller’s Mute. Featuring rare tracks of auto-didactic progressive pop music, proto-techno punk, shoot-for-the-stars-land-in-the-gutter chart flops and heralded, underground synth classics, School Daze Records paints a picture of beautiful failure.
The release launches at Spiritland on Monday 14 July with a special event that will see the Philip King in conversation with artists from the compilation - Pete Davies (The Goo-Q), Peta Lily, Andy Beaumont (Vision), Joe Murphy (Dream Unit) and Rich Wilde – with Martin Green DJing. Tickets are available HERE.
“And then came the rise of synth pop : blokes with dodgy haircuts hunched over keyboard-operated machines stuffed with wires and do-it-yourself tone oscillators making sounds like a brood of geese passing gas in a wind tunnel. Whoopee! This is the way the ‘70s ended : not with a blood-curdling bang but with a cheap, synthesized, emasculating whimper.” - NICK KENT, NME
Complete with extensive sleeve notes written by King and never before seen imagery, all 24 tracks were remastered by RPM in-house engineer Simon Murphy, many from vinyl copies due to lost master tapes. The story told on All The Young Droids is one of the dawning opportunity presented by both the emergence to the market of cheaper analog synthesisers and the distribution networks plus indie labels that exploded with the advent of punk music in 1976. While the music that sprouted out all over the globe in the wake of these factors was decried as fake, plastic, a refutation of punk’s guitar-led revolution, it’s telling that much of the music on All The Young Droids was created in bedrooms, ramshackle studios and home-made set ups with often borrowed equipment. In the era of record labels jumping to capitalise on the success of the Sex Pistols and The Clash (both on major labels, of course) these artists struggled to stand out from a new gold-rush with next to no budget or PR team. With radio and labels desperate for the new Yazoo, what resulted was a testament to necessity being the mother of invention.
At the time, the synthesiser was the music of the future, a shiny new machine that could paint like an orchestra with a single finger and a 4-track. In the hands of Manchester avant-pranksters Gerry & The Holograms it’s a pulsing, sardonic weapon… and the only instrument on the Messthetics classic lampooning of New Wave fashion. In Hamburg, a 16-year-old Andreas Dorau used the synthesiser to write and record (with his female classmates on vocals) a global smash in ‘Fred Vom Jupiter’ (later licensed to Mute Records). The hard-to-find English version (‘Fred From Jupiter’, natch) is included here. Many artists with already-storied careers caught the bug and recorded synthesiser-fuelled peons to space, computers, the future and, of course, love-interests. Harry Kakoulli, late of Squeeze, recorded a solo album in 1979 that included the incredible power-synth-pop smash-that-never smashed ‘I’m On A Rocket’. Similarly, Ian North of Neo and American Power Pop stalwarts Milk ’n’ Cookies bought a Korg MS20 and used a tape machine to record ‘We’re Not Lonely’, an absolute lost-classic of minimal synth pop. ‘We’re Not Lonely’ also features on the Junkshop Synth Pop sampler 7” twinned with John Howard unreleased track ‘You Will See’, out on 12 April 2025.
There are plenty of compilation debuts in evidence. Sole Sister were a mysterious trio who were featured on the Scaling Triangles compilation of female-fronted, queer-adjacent post-punk / underground music that also featured The Petticoats. Selwin Image were from San Francisco and featured members of the recently defunct power pop/punk group The Pushups. Their stupidly catchy ‘The Unknown’ fizzes with New Wave energy - think XTC to Sparks but remains unreleased until now. Dream Unit’s ‘A Drop In The Ocean’ is an early synth wave cut, positively teaming with Joy Division instrumentation, previously only released on a long forgotten and super rare, self-released EP. Incandescent Luminaire’s ‘Famous Names’ belies an archetypal struggle of a small-town trying to make it in a cruel industry but is a thrilling New Romantic-Synth Wave cross over with a OMD gloominess that’s a joy to hear. Feminist Minimal Wave track ‘I Am A Time Bomb’ by performance artist Peta Lilly and Michael Chance is a revelation destined for new found cult status. It was released on 7” and lost until now.
The flipside to the subterranean, never-made-it synth pop mentioned above are the ambitious, even fruity attempts at success that have a perennial elegance to their confidence. New Jersey-ite Billy London (real name Ed Barth) tried to cash in on the synth boom with ‘Woman’, released by a major label, a lurching new wave track built on the ‘Louie Louie’ rhythm and a wonderfully camp Lou Reed-style sleazy vocal before exploding in the synthesised chorus. The song bombed but with a chorus like this, you have to wonder why? Ex-Glitter Band member John Springate’s ‘My Life’ is truly epic, with doomed chord progressions and massive sounding drums turning into at least three different songs in the course of the track. Before you wonder what’s going on the song resolves with a glorious return to themain refrain.
The dry-ice-dressed dance floor is well catered for too. Design’s ‘Premonition’ and Vision’s ‘Lucifer’s Friend’ are stone-cold minimal synth bangers, well-loved but given a new lease of life here. The Warlord’s ‘The Ultimate Warlord’ was released in 1978, a homespun proto Hi NRG banger that was later re-recorded by The Immortals in Canada who had a club hit with it. One-man- band Disco Volante’s ‘No Motion’ was re-issued by Synth wave label Medical in 2012 but makes its first vinyl compilation appearance here. Close your eyes and you can imagine what Lawrence of Felt would have sounded like with some cheap Korgs a little earlier in his career. Gibraltar-based trio The Microbes imagined a computer programming people to dance - how prescient - and ended up with a propulsive, robo-funk track with splendid rubbery bass playing over a tectonic drum machine. Previously picked up by Belgian label Stroom TV, Dee Jay Bert & Eagle’s heavily Euro-accented ‘I Am Your Master’ demands the listener to “come to paradise!” in a frankly terrifying manner.
All The Young Droids is the first compilation to peel away from the narrative that dour, Minimal Synth and Cold Wave were the only musical children of the first rush of synth pop. Philip King and School Daze Records describe a much more complicated world: along with the austere, Brutalist children of Daniel Miller (who produced Alan Burnham’s Bowie-Low-influenced ‘Science Fiction’ here) was a plethora of desperate cash-ins, accidental mainstream hits, ambitious pop dramas and major label punts that went nowhere. Crucially, the compilation blurs the line between junk and treasure. What if the two things are interchangeable. What if it’s all science fiction?

Kathleen Edwards debuts new song "Pine" today

photo credit: Kate YorkJuly 2, 2025—Acclaimed singer, songwriter and performer Kathleen Edwards releases her new song, “Pine,” today. Listen/share HERE.Reflecting on the track, Edwards shares, “On the 2-day drive from Ottawa to Nashville, a line popped in my head, ‘when we go our separate ways, the thought of you stays.’ By the time I arrived in Nashville I had written ‘Pine’ and it was the first track we put down for this album. Friends who can’t be lovers. A classic country song. At first the arrangement made me feel incredibly bare and exposed, but I now love the spare production, Jason’s super dry electric solo makes me feel like Dusty.”The track is the latest offering from her highly anticipated new album, Billionaire , out August 22 on Dualtone Records (pre-order). Produced by Jason Isbell and Gena Johnson, the new 10-song project recalls the lyrical sharpness and unflinching candor of Edwards’ acclaimed debut Failer and includes previously shared songs “Save Your Soul” and “Say Goodbye, Tell No One.” In addition to Edwards (vocals, acoustic guitar), Isbell (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, keys, synth, background vocals) and Johnson (engineer, piano, background vocals), the album includes Anna Butterss (bass), Annie Clements (bass), Chad Gamble (drums and percussion), Jen Gunderman (piano, celeste, Hammond B3 organ, Wurlizter) and Shelby Lynne and Allison Moorer (background vocals). In celebration of Billionaire, Edwards will embark on a series of performances this summer and fall including newly confirmed dates at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on September 16 and a return to XPoNential Music Festival on September 20 among many others. See below for complete tour details.Of the album, Edwards shares, “I decided to call the record Billionaire because the word is used in such a caustic way these days. But we should all want to be billionaires in life, to be rich in experience, friendship, purpose, and the pursuit of the things that bring us joy.”Of working with Edwards, Johnson shares, “Kathleen is as funny as she is deep. She loves to rock, have fun and nerd out on guitar tones, which both Jason and I love to do as well. It was important to us to make sure we were featuring all the sides of her in the production of this album from tracking to final mix. She totally thrived on the energy of the full band when we were in the studio and was also open to an idea I had for the song, ‘Little Pink Door.’ That song ended up being a live one-take performance of Kathleen singing while playing acoustic guitar, accompanied by Jason on electric guitar and Jen Gunderman on piano. Both Jason and Jen were right there with her every single breath, only playing when it felt right. I remember when the take finished, Jason said he wouldn’t change a thing about it, and I couldn’t have agreed more. It’s in those moments when you know that something truly special is being made. I am so looking forward to attending a live show and experiencing both the energy and intimacy these songs and stories will bring to the audience.”

album cover artCelebrated as one of the forebears of modern alt-country and Americana music, Edwards is beloved by fans and fellow musicians, and praised by The New York Times for her, “droll, observant and unsparing tone that is all her own. In her best lines, Edwards has the conversational vernacular and emotional eloquence of a great short-story writer.”Since debuting in 2003, Edwards has released five albums, including 2020’s Total Freedom—her first after stepping away from music for almost a decade. Released to overwhelming acclaim with pieces at The New Yorker, The New York Times, Rolling Stone and more, Pitchfork called it, “a creative breakthrough, written solely for the thrill of discovery,” while Rolling Stone declared it as, “devastatingly great.” Most recently, Edwards released a covers EP featuring special guests Isbell, Bahamas and Daniel Tashian and including renditions of Isbell's “Traveling Alone,” Bruce Springsteen's “Human Touch,” The Flaming Lips’ “Feeling Yourself Disintegrate,” Tom Petty’s “Crawling Back To You” and more. “Her New Knife crank out brilliantly tense songs that bite with post-hardcore snarl.”
- NME
“Focuses on the beauty found in the weirder, darker, experimental throes of guitar music.”
- THE FADER
“Toes the line between melodic and uneasy.”
- STEREOGUM
“A deeply compelling prospect in their own godless right."
- SO YOUNG MAGAZINE
“Every chance they get, Her New Knife chooses to go darker, bolder, and weirder.”
- POST-TRASH
Philadelphia band Her New Knife are excited to share their cover of Björk’s “Pagan Poetry,” digitally available everywhere now via the tastemaking Philly label Julia’s War Recordings. A guitar-forward take on the fan-favorite track off Björk’s 2001 record Vespertine, today’s cover sees the band infuse discordant instrumentation into a deeply emotional soundscape. Her New Knife strives for sonic innovation, turning a familiar track into a completely new experience.
“Björk as an artist has always inspired me. In her songwriting, I’ve always found something very important to take note of. Whether that be her lyrical imagery, sonic texturing, expression and inflection of the voice, or the pursuit of something new and personal and raw in her music,” guitarist and vocalist Edgar Atencio explains.
“In 2024, Ben [Kachler] and I recorded mostly guitar (classical and electric) and voice (additional vocals by Dylan Vaisey & Cassidy Hammond), in juxtaposition to the varied and lush orchestration of the original track, I wanted our version to be sparse and more focused on just guitar and voice- in an attempt to embody the rawness of Björk’s performance. This cover is something that I felt we could do in our own way, as a tribute to all these aspects of her music that I hold close.”

Last year, Her New Knife shared their six-song EP, chrome is lullaby, via Julia’s War Recordings. Featuring quickly rising songs like “kitty riff” and “vitamin beauty,” the release was widely acclaimed by tastemakers such as The FADER, Post-Trash, Stereogum and NME, the latter of which added them to the NME100, declaring the band as one to watch for 2025. The group is currently working on their debut album, expected to be released in 2026.

It will feature new unplugged versions of five classic recordings “Cast No Shadow,” “Morning Glory,” “Wonderwall,” “Acquiesce” and “Champagne Supernova.” To be released on October 3rd on Big Brother Recordings, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) is available for pre-order here on limited edition 2CD and 3LP formats as well as digital formats to pre-save. The new unplugged versions were produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho from the original master recordings at Noel’s studio, Lone Star Sound, in London. The new interpretation of “Acquiesce” is revealed today – listen here and watch the visualizer here.

(What’s The Story) Morning Glory? stands out as one of the all-time era-defining great rock albums. Oasis’ second album was first released on October 2nd, 1995, on Creation Records and propelled the band to worldwide success. Following just 14 months after their stunning debut Definitely Maybe, which is widely regarded as one of the most influential debut albums, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? was hugely successful and awarded Best British Album at the 1996 BRIT Awards.
Number one albums followed internationally, and (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? has now sold an excess of a staggering 22 million copies globally, including over 5.5 million in the United States, and is the UK’s third biggest selling studio album of all time. The album was also announced by National Album Day as the Official Most Streamed Album of the ‘90s, with Definitely Maybe as second.
Today’s announcement comes as Oasis commence the most sought-after tour on the planet this year with their Live ‘25 tour. Unprecedented demand for tickets further underlines the ever-growing appeal of their music, with fans from 158 different countries applying for tickets to the UK shows when they went on sale last summer. As the dates have drawn nearer, the excitement has continued to reach fever pitch. The global tour commences at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Friday, before heading to Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in the UK, and then continuing worldwide. Full dates below.
To celebrate the tour, Big Brother Recordings have launched the Oasis Live ‘25 Map Experience – an official digital companion for fans across the world. FOO FIGHTERS
COMMEMORATE 30th ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW SINGLE
“TODAY’S SONG” OUT NOW
“I woke today / Screaming for change…”

Foo Fighters mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s classic 1995 debut with the opening salvo of its next chapter: “Today’s Song,” the first taste of new Foo Fighters music since 2023’s universally acclaimed But Here We Are, is now available across digital platforms.
An indelible anthem in the time-honored Foo Fighters tradition, “Today’s Song” bristles with unbridled optimism from its subtle melodic intro through the peaks of its soaring crescendos. With lyrical themes of personal evolution and perseverance in the face of life’s uncertainty and the passage of time, “Today’s Song” is nothing short of a three-minute-fifteen-second epic.
Listen to “Today’s Song” HERE.
In a note to fans that posted today, Dave Grohl wrote, “Over the years, we’ve had moments of unbridled joy, and moments of devastating heartbreak. Moments of beautiful victory, and moments of painful defeat. We have mended broken bones and broken hearts. But we have followed this road together, with each other, for each other, no matter what. Because in life, you just can’t go it alone.
It should go without saying that without the boundless energy of William Goldsmith, the seasoned wisdom of Franz Stahl, and the thunderous wizardry of Josh Freese, this story would be incomplete, so we extend our heartfelt gratitude for the time, music, and memories that we shared with each of them over the years. Thank you, gentlemen.
And… Taylor. Your name is spoken every day, sometimes with tears, sometimes with a smile, but you are still in everything we do, everywhere we go, forever. The enormity of your beautiful soul is only rivaled by the infinite longing we feel in your absence. We all miss you beyond words. Foo Fighters will forever include Taylor Hawkins in every note that we play, until we do finally reach our destination.”

Foo Fighters are Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee.
