BRONCHO Premieres New Song "Get In My Car", Announces Summer Tour

BRONCHO PREMIERES NEW SONG "GET IN MY CAR"
ANNOUNCES SUMMER TOUR
Photo credit: Pooneh GhanaLISTEN / SHARE: "GET IN MY CAR"
BRONCHO is back today, just in time for summer's pool parties and Fourth of July BBQs, with their infectious new single "Get In My Car." Stereogum premiered the track today, saying, "'Get In My Car' finds them further refining their signature sound, a winsome blend of T. Rex's whispery glam and Phoenix's pristine  It's Never Been Like That -era guitar-pop. The song glides along with an understated swagger, Ryan Lindsey sighing and hiccuping his come-ons against a backdrop of gleaming guitars and low-key lockstep drums."
"Get In My Car" is the Oklahoma quartet's first new offering since releasing their third album Double Vanity in 2016, a record of "garage-tinged glam rock" (Noisey) with "hairpin-bent notes and a blanket of reverb that would make anyone but the Jesus & Mary Chain blush" (Spin).
BRONCHO will be on the road this summer, starting with an East Coast headlining run this month -- including two nights at Brooklyn's Union Pool, as well as dates with The Growlers and appearances at Salt Lake City's Crucialfest 7 and Long Beach, California's Music Tastes Good, both in September.

Cosmic Psych Outfit The Diaphanoids Unveil New Track 'Blessed Poisons'

COSMIC-PSYCH OUTFIT THE DIAPHANOIDS RELEASE NEW TRACK‘BLESSED POISONS’

Listen Here: https://soundcloud.com/people-in-the-sky/the-diaphanoids-blessed-poisons

The Diaphanoids return with their sleazy, iconic brand of psychallucisergic rock, with new album ‘Blessed Poisons’, released 8th August, via People In The Sky.
Jumped-up and re-toxed, ‘Blessed Poisons’ is the band’s answer to the current, sterile psychedelic scene; a punkier, snarling interpretation of the comparatively childish and harmless new cosmic sound of their contemporaries.
The final story in an epic trilogy, the space travellers, having survived a series of inner and outer trips, their strangest and most peculiar dimension has become daily reality, in which the only way to escape is by staying disconnected and in an altered state of mind. It's the sound of transcendent visions, of scarves drenched in oils, blood full of fractured rhythm, x-ray guitars and stoned vocals.
From tracks such as ‘Too Many Stars and Not Enough Night’, with its ecstatic floating guitars and infinitely shining crystal keyboards, to the smacked-down drums and hashed-up guitar solos of ‘Iconize Yourself’, ‘Blessed Poisons’ is a true howl from the gutter, a full-throated battle cry from the underground. Hallucinatory rage echoing out into a dead, empty reality.
The Diaphanoids were formed in 2001 by two Italian musicians; Andrea Bellentani and Simon Maccari.
The band’s debut album, the dreamy retro-inspired ‘Astral Weekend’, was released on Bearfunk Records in 2008 and was created using a collection of 50 vintage synthesizers including one that previously belonged to former Tangerine Dream member and synth wizard Klaus Schulze!
The 2014 follow-up, ‘LSME’, blended 70’s cosmic flavours, fuzzed-out guitars and motorised rhythms. Released on Tirk Recordings (home to Richard Norris's psych rock outfit ‘The Time And Space Machine’ and Greg Wilson's ‘Credit To The Edit’ series) the hallucinatory Moog-drenched record referenced everything from cosmic soundtracks to kitschy sci-fi to psychedelia and krautrock, and was met with critical acclaim.
People In The Sky Records began life in the back of a record shop in east London in early 2006 and were behind the early Friendly Fires releases along with sharp art-poppers, Plugs.

"Like A Woman is an exploration of my own femininity and sexuality. I want my audience to have a similar experience of their own while listening.  My goal is not to make a statement, but make space for exploration without shame or guilt.  I don't speak for all women.  I speak for Kacy Hill."
Polydor/G.O.O.D. Music artist Kacy Hill's highly-anticipated debut album Like A Woman, executive produced by Kanye West, is available everywhere now.

Setting the scene for today's release of Like A Woman are the album's first two single picks:
"LIKE A WOMAN,the album title track produced by DJ Mustard and DJDS, a passionate, slow-burner that builds gently before opening up to give Hill's voice room to breathe (view the  video ); and"HARD TO LOVE,produced by Stuart Price, a sweet song about being let down, as Hill's voice is front and center, tender and pleading.(Watch the video here)Fans and listeners can go to www.dirtylittleredhead.com or dial 0800 1 KACY 00 for the Like A Woman interactive experience.

Like A Woman is the long-awaited follow-up to Kacy's 2015 debut EP, BLOO, containing the viral hit "Arm's Length" along with "Foreign Fields,"which broke the Top 5 on Spotify's Global Viral Top 50 chart.

Arizona native Kacy Hill first fell in love with music as a member of the Vanessa Beecroft-curated performance troupe for Kanye West's Yeezustour.  Kanye was quick to sign her to his G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam imprint, and offer his mentorship and advice.  At his suggestion, Kacy made serious changes in her sound and her story as an artist: focusing on her voice, finding her own melody, and writing from the parts of her heart that she had previously kept close.  The results can be experienced on Like A Woman, whose songs deal with intimacy, longing, heartbreak, and searching.

Dubbed a "mesmerizing debut album" by The Telegraph, "Like A Woman is a tender, ethereal work of love, desire, loss and healing. It resonates with a powerfully feminine spirit. And not a guest rapper in earshot", Kacy has steadily built her buzz over the past two years – Top 10 on the Dazed & Confused Readers' 100 List, features on debut albums by Travis Scott and Cashmere Cat, a collaborator on Kid Cudi's album, the cover of  V  magazine's music issue, and several fashion spreads in Vogue.  Last month alone, Kacy could be found in Crack Magazine, a huge spread in Flaunt, and on the cover of Galore.

As Kacy Hill's story continues to unfold, and her already-impressive buzz continues to grow,  LIKE A WOMAN  marks the breakthrough of one of 2017's most exciting artists.

Liam Gallagher Shares Brand New Track "Chinatown"

SHARES BRAND NEW TRACK "CHINATOWN" Tracklisting Revealed For Debut Solo Album As You WereSet for Release October 6 on Warner Bros. Records/Parlophone   June 30, 2017 (Burbank, CA) - The return of Liam Gallagher gathered pace with a sensational show at Glastonbury last weekend. NME described it as "a swaggering, emotional moment," "worth the hype" and "one of Glastonbury's finest moments," before concluding, "never underestimate the man, he was made for moments like this."Between Glastonbury, his recent sold-out underplay tour of the U.K./Ireland, and an emotional performance at One Love Manchester, Liam Gallagher has demonstrated that he's back to his very best. Click here to view and share Gallagher's performance of "Wall Of Glass" from last weekend's Glastonbury performance. Click here to view and share an interview with Gallagher from Glastonbury. Now Gallagher continues to build anticipation for the October 6 release of his debut solo albumAs You Were by sharing the brand new track "Chinatown" and revealing the album's tracklisting. Click here for single and album information. In contrast to the punchy first single "Wall Of Glass," "Chinatown" is an atmospheric, psychedelic slow burner in which he utilises the more tender side of his inimitable vocal stylings. As a pairing, the two tracks hint at what to expect from As You Were, with Gallagher adding a modern sheen to his passion for a wide range of influences from the 60s and 70s. After Gallagher ignited the writing process with the heavy duty soul-rock of "Bold," As You Werewas recorded in two locations. Greg Kurstin performed all of the instruments on the four songs that he produced in Los Angeles ("Wall Of Glass," "Paper Crown," "Come Back To Me" and the psychedelic whoosh of "It Doesn't Have To Be That Way"), while Dan Grech-Marguerat produced the remainder of the album at Snap! Studios in London. "I didn't want to be reinventing anything or going off on a space jazz odyssey," says Gallagher. "It's the Lennon 'Cold Turkey' vibe, The Stones, the classics. But done my way, now." One of the most striking aspects of As You Were is that all the songs have a purpose. There's no flab, nothing to cut. They all feel directed at something or someone, setting the record straight or getting his side of the story over, be that the swinging, Bo Diddley-like "Greedy Soul," which incinerates someone who's the "ungrateful dead" or the mega-ballad "For What It's Worth," which serves up the album's biggest chorus. The tracklisting for As You Were: 1.      Wall Of Glass2.      Bold3.      Greedy Soul4.      Paper Crown5.      For What It's Worth6.      When I'm In Need7.      You Better Run8.      I Get By9.      Chinatown10.   Come Back To Me11.   Universal Gleam12.   I've All I Need Bonus tracks on deluxe album editions: 13.   Doesn't Have To Be That Way14.   All My People / All Mankind15.   I Never Wanna Be Like You The As You Were cover features an iconic new portrait of Liam, which was taken by the influential photographer, fashion designer and creative director Hedi SlimaneAs You Were is now available to pre-order from https://l-gx.com/lg_asyouwere with "Wall Of Glass" and "Chinatown" provided as an instant download. It will be released on digital (standard and deluxe), CD (standard and deluxe) and vinyl (standard 12" and limited edition color 12" formats). A special boxset is also available from https://wbr.ec/lg-store-dlxboxset. It compiles a color 12" vinyl of the album, an exclusive 7" format of "For What It's Worth," a print designed by Klaus Voorman (the artist behind The Beatles' Revolver album cover) and additional collectors' items. As previously announced, Liam Gallagher and band will tour North America this fall: Nov 13             San Francisco, CA        WarfieldNov 18             Denver, CO                  GothicNov 20             Minneapolis, MN           First AvenueNov 21             Chicago, IL                   The RivieraNov 23             Toronto, ON                 RebelNov 25             Boston, MA                   House of BluesNov 27             New York, NY               Terminal 5Nov 29             Washington, DC           Lincoln TheatreNov 30             Philadelphia, PA            Union Transfer  Joining Liam Gallagher on the road will be Jay Mehler on guitars, Mike Moore on guitars, Christian Madden on keyboards, Drew McConnell on bass, and Dan McDougall on drums.

Lucy Rose shares new song & live video, "Something's Changing" out July 7 on Arts & Crafts

LUCY ROSE SHARES NEW SONG “MOIRAI” SOMETHING’S CHANGING  OUT JULY 7 ON
ARTS & CRAFTS
NORTH AMERICAN TOUR STARTS OCTOBER 5
Lucy Rose is sharing a new song, “Morai,” from her forthcoming third album  Something’s Changing  (due July 7 in North America via Arts & Crafts). Listen/share the song HERE and view the live video HERE. Rose kicks off the U.S. leg of her tour in New York at Le Poisson Rouge on October 5. Please see a list of tour dates below.Rose explains “When I wrote this I was thinking a lot about fate and destiny and discovered that the Greek God in control of our fates was called Moirai. I sometimes feel like I live by 'oh well, it wasn't meant to be' but what happens if it was and it's just plain unfair that it didn't. I often think about this when it comes to lost love which I've heard so many stories of for various reasons, 'the one' getting away. But it happens, wrong time, wrong place and I wanted to write a song about that.”The album is accompanied by a fly-on-the-wall short film documenting her debut tour in Latin America last year, a trip that was independently organized by Rose with the help of her fans. The tour was the inspiration for the record and the film serves as an intimate account of this process. The video for the single “No Good At All” is out now, watch/share it HERE. Of the video, Rose notes “‘No Good At All’ is the oldest song on the album and was written just before I went on my first trip to Latin America. When I wrote it, I was kind of feeling that maybe I wasn’t good enough for music and was re-thinking everything. But it’s also got an element of love to it, finding the one to start a new life with, who one day you could settle down and have a family with. There’s a fair amount of self-doubt in this song, but also positivity for the future.”Rose embarked on the making of Something’s Changing following her tour for her second, critically acclaimed album Work It Out. Over time, she noticed a steady stream of tweets reaching her from Latin America, and the unlikely statistic that geographically her music was most popular on Spotify in Mexico City. It gave birth to the seed of an idea that became a real labor of love over the next six months. Lucy offered her fans in Latin America a deal: “If you book me a gig, I’ll come and stay.” For two months Lucy, with her guitar, a camera and her backpack, toured Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil and Mexico, playing free shows, staying with fans and “falling back in love with making music.” The documentary of her experience there was inspired by “the kindness and faith in music of those she met includes fans blocking the street outside a gig above a launderette, trying to sleep on endless inter-city bus rides and living with families in out-of-the-way towns;” Rose's husband Will Morris filmed as much as the experience as possible along the way.Rose says, “The documentary is a big part of this record. I think it explains why that trip was important and why it lead to me making the album that I’ve made. The trip gave me confidence to do things like record in just one take and the songs came more easily.”With the insight gained during her travels, Lucy set out to make the third album on her own. Through friends she began a collaboration with Brighton producer Tim Bidwell, and in his home studio found the ideal place to explore songs for a new album. Every week Lucy would take the train to Brighton and created the new album in a mere 17 days.Major contributions came from by Bidwell, in-house bassist Ben Daniels and drummer Chris Boot as well as guest appearances by Daughter’s Elena Tonra, Bear’s Den’s Marcus Hamblett and Matthew and The Atlas’ Emma Gatrill. On two tracks vocal harmonies are provided by The Staves (“Floral Dresses” and “Is This Called Home”).“The songs just came more naturally after that trip, from feeling good and from learning so much about myself,” adds Rose. “I feel more comfortable in my own skin that I’ve ever felt in my life. So there is a lot of searching as well as a lot of discovery on this record.”On select dates this year she’ll tour alongside the documentary, returning to Latin America first and then India, Europe and Asia along with North America.LUCY ROSE TOUR DATESOct. 5—New York, NY—Le Poisson RougeOct. 6—Somerville, MA—The RockwellOct. 7—Montreal, QC—PHI CentreOct. 9—Toronto, ON—The DrakeOct. 11—Chicago, IL—Schuba’sOct. 12—St. Paul, MN—Turf ClubOct. 14—Vancouver, BC—The Rio TheatreOct. 15—Seattle, WA—The SunsetOct. 16—Portland, OR—Mission TheaterOct. 18—San Francisco, CA—Swedish American HallOct. 22—Los Angeles, CA—Troubadour
