Gogol Bordello Return With New Single “We Mean It, Man!” Out Now
Gogol Bordello released a brand new single entitled “We Mean It, Man!” via founder and Ukrainian frontman Eugene Hütz’s Casa Gogol Records. The song marks the group’s first original music since 2022 and it precedes their upcoming two-month European headline tour.
“We Mean It, Man!” embodies the unpredictable hallmarks of Gogol Bordello’s enigmatic signature sound that’s remained beloved by audiences worldwide for nearly three decades. The track was produced and mixed by Adam “Atom” Greenspan (Idles, Nick Cave, Bloc Party) and is a terse, distorted guitar-driven punky call-to-arms. Frontman Hütz, alternates between intense growling and melodic chanting on the chorus, “We mean it, man!”; a song for these times!
Eugene Hütz says “‘We Mean It, Man!’ is like taking the inner temperature of the eternal seeker and surfer of positive vibrations. It’s someone who is bellydancing on status quo-tables and healing itself from the world’s lies and irony while reaching for rays of joyous healing unity. This is the inner temperature of Gogol Bordello.”
“We Mean It, Man!”: Listen / Watch

Gogol Bordello’s fall tour launches on September 12 in Amsterdam, NL. It canvases mainland Europe, visiting Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and more. Finally, Gogol Bordello touch down in Brighton on October 24 for the tour’s UK leg, continuing with dates in Manchester, Glasgow, and London where the tour concludes with two shows October 31 and November 1. They will be joined by support acts Son Rompe Pera, Split Dogs, & Puzzled Panther, who just released psychedelic Manchester-meets-New York EP Fits of Serenity. Full tour dates here.
In June, alt rock band The Yagas, fronted by Oscar and Emmy-nominated actress Vera Farmiga, and Gogol Bordello released the official studio version of their take on the popular Ukrainian love song “Chervona Ruta” in celebration of the big Ukrainian summer holiday Kupala Night and raising awareness for UNITED24. Not to mention, Agnostic Front lead guitarist Vinnie Stigma released his new Americana album, The Outlaw Vinnie Stigma, via Eugene Hütz’s Casa Gogol Records, in conjunction with Generation Records. The two celebrated with release with four special shows in Brooklyn, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C. – featuring special guests from Michael Imperioli’s band ZOPA, Walter Schreifels (Quicksand, Gorilla Biscuits), and Jesse Wagner (Aggrolites).
The following month, Gogol Bordello embarked on a California tour with Grace Bergere that included a stop at Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, before capping off the summer with a headlining performance at a full-capacity Celebrate Brooklyn! on August 2.
Stay tuned for more music and news from Gogol Bordello coming soon.
ABOUT EUGENE HÜTZ / GOGOL BORDELLO
Eugene Hütz is a Ukrainian-born artist, songwriter, and frontman of the International punk band Gogol Bordello – a rare musical force raucously illuminating stages alongside System of a Down, Rancid, and Dropkick Murphys, dueting with Regina Spektor and cutting albums with Rick Rubin & Steve Albini. A lifelong lover of the punk scene growing up in Ukraine, Hütz found himself where he felt he belonged, in New York’s Lower East Side in the late 90s, where he went to shows and later performed at the legendary CBGB. Crashing at friends’ apartments and playing acoustic sets in NYC Ukrainian bars, his group steadily grew to an 8-piece multicultural band, combining Eastern, Western, and Latin traditions. Hütz is a tireless advocate for Ukrainian solidarity, partnering with Nova Ukraine and ArtDopomoga, as well as putting together benefits with Patti Smith, The Hold Steady, Suzanne Vega, Magnetic Fields, Matisyahu, and more. Hütz has also appeared in arthouse films such as Liev Schreiber’s Everything Is Illuminated with Elijah Wood, Filth and Wisdom helmed by Madonna, and last year’s Vice documentary Scream of My Blood: A Gogol Bordello Story (Executive Producer Liev Schreiber).

Following the release of their critically acclaimed fourth studio album The Clearing , and ahead of their highly anticipated North American tour starting tomorrow, Wolf Alice have shared the official music video for their latest single ‘Just Two Girls.’
The video, directed by Colin Solal Cardo and choreographed by Ryan Heffington (also responsible for ‘Bloom Baby Bloom’), stars actor Lucy Boynton (Bohemian Rhapsody, The Politician) and finds the two girls catching up over some drinks in a bar before causing some gentle mayhem throughout the restaurant in the name of frivolity. A snapshot into the connection between two friends without a care in the world, enjoying each other's company and hoping others come along for the ride.
Watch the official music for “Just Two Girls” HERE.
A love letter penned for female friendships, it's a song celebrating the power of connection and unadulterated adoration for your best friend, your soul mate, your wife for life. To the ones who get you, know you, understand your hang ups, passions and inner thoughts - sometimes even before you do. The ones who can help you navigate life and make some sense of the world, one date at a time.
Ellie explains: “I was inspired by going for dinner with my friends — a couple of friends, at different times, just one-on-one. I noticed how much I was saying Oh my god yeah you’re so right! And I thought it was so nice to see how validating these conversations with my girlfriends are, how much I’m learning in these chats. I think I’ve been trying to figure out a lot of things, like getting older. I feel it’s really been a strange time of thinking about appearance. And these are things you hash out with your girlfriends and suddenly you don’t feel so shit about them again. I just felt like there deserved to be a song about that.”
Following a packed summer of historical festival slots at Primavera Sound, Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Glastonbury, the band will celebrate The Clearing with a sold-out tour across North America, which starts on September 10 in Atlanta, GA. 'L7’s 40th Anniversary Bash' Full Line-Up Announced | Oct. 3 in LA
L7’s 40th Anniversary Bash
Announces Full Line-Up Today
L7 ★ Lunachicks ★ CSS
Bonavega ★ DJ Vanessa Burgundy
Friday, October 3 at The Belasco Theater in LA

In 2024, rock icons L7 threw the inaugural annual takeover of The Belasco Theater, a menacing night of music and art, to acclaim spanning The Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Magazine, BrooklynVegan, FLOOD Magazine, 95.5 KLOS, KCRW and more. They are set to bring their bombastic legacy and outrageous vision to LA nightlife once again with L7’s 40th Anniversary Bash on Friday, October 3. The band will ring in this career milestone with a headlining performance alongside spectacular acts Lunachicks and CSS. Today, they have announced the event’s full line-up which now includes opener Bonavega and DJ Vanessa Burgundy on the decks to keep the celebratory dance party going into the night.
Legendary frontwoman Donita Sparks shares,
“For our Takeover of the Belasco Theater this year, we decided to focus on L7’s 40th anniversary. We thought it would be more celebratory having all the bands perform on the theater’s main stage while keeping the after-show dance party up in the gorgeous ballroom. The curation for the 40th needed heavy hitters and we got them in Lunachicks and CSS, headliners all, who are both friends and colleagues in rock. As it falls on a Friday night this year, it just felt natural to make the start time a bit later but also a bit more compact.
With the addition of the amazing Bonavega as the night’s opening act, and DJ Vanessa Burgundy for the dance party, there will be plenty of action and fun throughout the night!”

HILARY WOODS announces new album 'Night CRIÚ’ and shares first single/video "Endgames". Album out Oct 31st via Sacred Bones Records.
- Out Oct 31st via Sacred Bones Records
- Shares first single/video "Endgames"

Incorporating her analogue film practice and inspired by unspoken bonds that bind us to another, the video to " Endgames " was made by Woods. Piecing together her own 16mm and super 8 film footage processed by hand in the darkroom, combined with archive footage, home movies, profile photographs by Joshua Wright, and Hilary's own drawings on celluloid film.

Pre-order/pre-save Night CRIÚ here: https://lnk.to/NightCRIU
On Night CRIÚ , unmoored sonic threads recall the cracks, fringes, forgotten agency and dormant personas that surface at night, waiting to be retrieved and integrated come daylight. A ceremony of light and shade, Night CRIÚ is a record that riles against bludgeoning monoculture in its reclaiming and mourning a lost innocence all at once, and in its reaching to integrate lost and splintered parts of the whole.
Despite its economy, each song on Night CRIÚ breathes into an expansive depth of feeling quintessential of Woods’s compositions, and true to her artistry, a search for new possibilities and direction is ever present, expressed most keenly here in her writing for brass band and children’s choir.
Whilst her last record Acts of Light was in monochrome, on Night CRIÚ portals of colour burst forth through shadowy sable tones and sonics. The intergenerational presence of voices woven through its fabric, hear young and old sing side by side fostering a compelling sense of wonder, community and connection through the heart of the record. Trombones and cornets commune and rise up triumphantly in unison in brass-band procession outward from its centre, whilst lyrically, Woods reconfigures the inter-personal. Her words are mottled photographic close ups planted in the dark to bloom upward toward the light, illuminating invisible corners, and making the unseen seen.
Inspired and energised by many influences including aspects of Czech and early Italian cinema, the revival of indigenous language, a personal history of attending processions and parades, early music, the joy in dance, the immediacy of sound, and the collective standing up for what it means to be human in the face of tyranny and oppression, Night CRIÚ was recorded between the West Coast of Ireland, Dublin, London, Latvia and Richmond Virginia between 2023 and January 2025. These songs were chosen from many early home recordings that Woods held up as mirrors of juxtaposition to each other. Written and produced by Hilary Woods, Night CRIÚ was mixed by Dean Hurley with additional production by Dean Hurley and Oliver Turvey, mastered by Brian Lucey, and featuring work by Hannah Fallon, The Hangleton brass band, Gabriel Ferrandini and Ajo Gonsenica.
For Woods “Each record is a life buoy, a raft, a snapshot, a marker in the sand, a date that requires me to meet it. Making records is a way of being”.

Today, Tortoise announce Touch, the first new album from the groundbreaking group since 2016. This new record from the post-everything icons comes via International Anthem and Nonesuch Records on LP, CD, and digital download on October 24, 2025, and on streaming services on November 11, 2025. Lead single "Layered Presence" — which also comes via video filmed and directed by Mikel Patrick Avery — is out on all DSPs now.

With Touch, the Tortoise bandmembers — Dan Bitney, John Herndon, Douglas McCombs, John McEntire, and Jeff Parker — harness their collectivist songwriting approach, a slightly anarchistic but resolutely egalitarian process where ideas triumph over ego towards an abstracted muscularity. While there are still excursions into the dusky, elegantly gnarled jazz ambience that flourished on landmark works like Millions Now Living Will Never Die and TNT, Touch is perhaps most remarkable for Tortoise's unapologetic embrace of grand gesture. Aerodynamically re-engineered Krautrock, hand-cranked techno rave-ups, and pointillist spaghetti western fanfares are all imbued with Tortoise's now-signature internal logic — equally alluring and confounding, a puzzle to be savored rather than solved.
The stylistic diversity is also a reflection of the band's current operating circumstances: With two members now in Los Angeles, another in Portland, and just two remaining in the band's Chicago hometown, their creative process has shifted dramatically from when they lived together in a loft space in the late 1990s, honing their sound over endless hours of collective experimentation.
Recorded between the three cities — Los Angeles, Portland, and Chicago — Touch is the result of an intentional effort by these five musicians to reconnect, recenter, and reinvigorate their sound for what is perhaps the group’s most diverse release to date.
Touch is the culmination of a long-gestating reunion, the results of which Tortoise first shared this past March, when they released "Oganesson" — "an off-kilter, 7/4 funk tune with a spy-movie ambience" (New York Times) that is included on the new album — ahead of a career-spanning opening night performance at the boundary-crossing music festival Big Ears. They followed that with the Oganesson Remixes EP, which featured reworks of the track from poet and activist Saul Williams, prolific mastering engineer Heba Kadry, Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, indie music icons Broken Social Scene, and International Anthem labelmate Makaya McCraven.
A series of special shows is planned through the end of the year, including The Broad Museum in Los Angeles, a three-night weekend stand at NYC's Bowery Ballroom, two shows at the Barbican for EFG London Jazz Festival, and a landmark show at The Auditorium in Chicago, where Tortoise will play with the Chicago Philharmonic for the first time. The band will then embark on European tours in early 2026, with more dates to be announced soon.
"Layered Presence" is out now, listen to it here.

“… her solo work — which includes psychedelic electronica, massive breakbeat sounds, anthemic synth-kissed songs and remarkably fun D.J. sets — continues to cement her reputation as a stand-alone talent.” - The New York Times, May 2025
Today London-based, Australian-born producer, songwriter and DJ, HAAi (aka Teneil Throssell) edges closer to the release of her second studio album, HUMANiSE, with the release of a new track, “Stitches.”
Listen to “Stitches” HERE, which Throssell says is “a naive love letter to yourself, your lover and your friends. The people who evoke the strongest feelings in you and who make you feel the most human.”
She also has announced news of an exclusive NYC event at The Lot Radio this Wednesday, September 10th from 7:00 PM EST - 9:00PM EST, where she will pre-release screen HUMANiSE by HAAi - a New Visions Original production that brings the conceptual world of HAAi's forthcoming album to life through a live performance filmed inside London's Drumsheds.
Featuring collaborators Jon Hopkins, Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Obi Franky, KAM-BU, Trans Voices and Kaiden Ford, HUMANiSE fuses powerful visuals with HAAi's boundary-pushing sound into an unforgettable cinematic performance. The event is free and open to the public. The Lot is located at 17 Nassau Ave. Brooklyn, NY. More info HERE.
“Stitches” comes hot on the heels of her tribute to the dancefloor, “Hey!,” and follows recent tracks “Satellite” (feat. Jon Hopkins & Obi Franky & ILĀ & TRANS VOICES) and “Can’t Stand To Lose,” both A-listed by BBC Radio 6 Music, plus her collaboration with KAM-BU, “Shapeshift.” After a busy summer – recent DJ sets include Coachella, Movement, Glastonbury (her Glastonbury B2B with Romy that went out on BBC Radio 1 featured the premiere of Romy’s remix of ‘Stitches’), Body Movements, helming UNiSON, her community-focussed night in London, as well as a drop in on Glamcult TV to record this intimate version of “Can’t Stand To Lose” plus a remix of Chloé Caillet & Luke Alessi’s “The One ft. Jocelyn Brown,” HAAi won’t be taking her foot off the pedal this autumn. As well as a series of DJ dates which include Portola Festival and Making Time Festival in the US, she has UK in-store performances and signings confirmed for Brighton’s Resident and both Bristol and London’s Rough Trade. Full dates are listed below.
The new album, an immense evolution from her acclaimed debut, reckons with what it is to be human in an increasingly digital world, as AI threatens to eclipse everything and our screens separate us from each other.
HUMANiSE is out on October 10, 2025 via Mute on limited edition clear double gatefold vinyl and limited-edition CD in eco card packaging. Pre-order it HERE.
In all of her work, Teneil has always sought to conquer new frontiers in electronic music and on the new album she’s drilling deeper into the grid. HUMANiSE reckons with what it is to be human in an increasingly digital world, as AI threatens to eclipse everything and our screens separate us from each other. The result is an ambitious and thrilling epic: embodying a sonic step up, exploring the sweet spot between machine-led dystopia and emotion-filled utopia.
“Throughout the album, I kept thinking about a machine with a human heart,” she says. Vocals are front and center, stunningly delicate and giving a newfound dimension to her kinetic productions. “It took a long time to get there, it’s such a vulnerable thing to do,” she continues, “but for this album, it was important for me to allow this ‘human heart’ to be front and center.”
HUMANiSE is HAAi’s first album release since her acclaimed DJ-Kicks compilation in 2023, which RA described as “a thrillingly eclectic journey through sound, where industrial beats meet warm melodies with finesse.” The compilation, which includes a new version of her collaboration with Jon Hopkins titled “Always Ascending,” came soon after her debut album, Baby, We’re Ascending, which opened up her boundary-pushing blend of psychedelia, techno and powerful beats to new avenues, prompting the likes of Dazed to say, “[HAAi] transcends to new planes of existence on her full-length debut” and NME to praise her “high-flying, vibrant electronic wonderland.” 2023 also saw the release of “Lights Out,” her collaboration with Fred again.. and Romy, a single that solidified HAAi’s place at the forefront of electronic music.
Outside of her own productions, HAAi is known for her dynamic, tempo-shifting DJ sets. In 2024 HAAi played over 100 shows across 5 continents, 30 countries, and 91 cities. She took to the biggest stages at festivals like Glastonbury, Sonar, and EDC Las Vegas, while also delivering sets at local parties including Japan’s Rainbow Disco Club, Berlin’s RSO and Paris’ Iconic Rex Club, where she performed a year-long residency. In-between, HAAi was playing b2b’s with friends like KI/KI, Jennifer Cardini, The Blessed Madonna and Solomun.
2024 also saw the launch of UNiSON, her community focused party that is a platform for HAAi to uplift rising talent while creating an inclusive and boundary-pushing space for club culture.

HO99O9 DROP NEW ALBUM FT. CHELSEA WOLFE, PINK SIIFU, GREG PUCIATO AND MORE
HO99O9 DROP NEW ALBUM TOMORROW WE ESCAPE
WATCH THE VIDEO FOR “TARGET PRACTICE”
TOUR TO KICK OFF NEXT MONTH
ANNOUNCE ADIDAS SNEAKER COLLAB

Los Angeles by way of New Jersey trailblazers Ho99o9 (horror) have released their third album, Tomorrow We Escape, featuring Chelsea Wolfe, Greg Puciato, MoRuf, Pink Siifu, and more (full tracklisting below). A true amalgamation of all the band’s influences—experimental hip-hop, digital hardcore, future-facing punk, metal, jarring industrial, and off-kilter electronics—the album is their most emotional offering to date, rooted in personal struggle and triumph. “It was a healthy challenge to focus on emotion. In the past, a lot of our material was politically charged. That element is present, but we wanted to take a more personal route. This mindset drove how we wrote songs. Everybody has a struggle. The goal is to find motivation for preservation.” Trayer Tryon of avant darlings Hundred Waters ( and with prod on recent breakthroughs - The Hellp, Sam Austins, 2Hollis, Alto Arc……) mixes and masters the album further refining a new sonic landscape, harnessing the very best of the chaos that fans have come to know and love, with a fresh injection of new found melodies, space, and crystalline production.
The album drops with a video for standout track “Target Practice,” with a cameo from the OGM’s son. The video also features everyone wearing the band’s Adidas shoe collab. With more details to follow (see below for stills), the band notes, “Kobe Bryant has always been one of my favorite basketball players. I always wanted a pair of the Crazy 8’s. Growing up, my dad was a Brazil fan when the World Cup came around. Adidas always played a role in the culture, from seeing Bob Marley in Adidas track suits and jerseys to Run-DMC. Jeremy Scott putting wings on a high top, to name a few. We’re excited and honored to be part of such an all-star cast, as we’re set to release our first collaboration shoe with Adidas. Our version of the Superstar, aka the Roux Ga Roux’s Foot, is set to drop in October.”
The band has also been announced as support on the upcoming Grandson tour. The 20-date US tour will make stops in San Francisco. Seattle, Chicago, DC, New York, LA, and many more. More details for that here.

The New Jersey-bred outfit made its way to Los Angeles over a decade ago. Surging and seething just below the surface, the pair broke through as an apocalyptically fascinating outlier with their 2017 full-length debut, United States of Horror. In the meantime, their infamous live shows became the stuff of legend as they packed houses on their own and shared stages with everyone from Slipknot, Korn, Alice in Chains, Rob Zombie, Ministry, and The Dillinger Escape Plan to Lil Uzi Vert, Denzel Curry, Cypress Hill, and Ghostface Killah. Earning the respect of an elite cohort of peers, popular collaborations placed them toe-to-toe with Corey Taylor of Slipknot, The Prodigy, JPEGMAFIA, Ghostemane, HEALTH, 3TEETH, and N8NOFACE, to name a few. Jack Black made an appearance in their KULT CABLE series while they guested on The Eric Andre Show. They’ve received further acclaim from The New York Times, NME, The Guardian, Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, The FADER, Revolver, and more. They stand out as the rare phenomenon that can decimate Hellfest and Aftershock Festival and captivate on A COLORS SHOW.

Jay Som - the project of Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Melina Duterte - will release Belong, her first new album in over six years, next month. The album is full of collaborations, including features with Hayley Williams of Paramore, Jimmy Eat World’s Jim Adkins on “Float,” and Lexi Vega of Mini Trees on “Cards On The Table.” Today she shares another track entitled “What You Need,” which may not have a feature, but highlights the collaborative nature of Belong. Inspired by a Peter Bjorn and John song that reminded Joao Gonzalez (Soft Glas) of Duterte’s music, “What You Need” was built together by the duo, crafting a track that is as springy yet sad as the lyrics, a tight-rope walk between adoration and annoyance. Addictive on first listen, it’s a subtle wonder of production, too, its layers of drums and curdled synths serving as a platform for the bright guitars that bend through it.
“Joao created and sent me the basic skeleton for 'What You Need' a couple hours before the fires in LA started,” Duterte says of the new single. “I remember feeling immediately drawn to it, but the uncertainty and danger we were about to face crept up, pulling our focus elsewhere. We eventually revisited the demo a month later, after witnessing how the people of LA came together in its darkest moments -- it felt necessary and only right to create this song with friends.”

Jay Som will embark on her first North American tour in over 5 years this winter. See below to find a show near you, and get your tickets HERE.
Since Jay Som’s critically acclaimed sophomore album Anak Ko came out in 2019, Duterte has spent the last few years cultivating her passion for production and audio engineering. This lead to producing credits on the GRAMMY-winning boygenius album the record, Lucy Dacus’ latest Forever Is A Feeling, and countless beloved indie records. She also joined boygenius as a touring band member, collaborated alongside the likes of Troye Sivan and beabadoobee with No Rome, contributed to the I Saw the TV Glow soundtrack, and more. Yes, Jay Som itself has been on a bit of a break; Duterte, however, has perhaps been busier than ever.
Finally, Jay Som will release her new album Belong on October 10th via Polyvinyl Record Co. While Jay Som has always been a solo project for Duterte, this album finds her expanding her world by collaborating with outside musicians, writers and producers. Duterte wrote, composed, performed, produced, engineered and mixed the record with contributions from Joao Gonzalez (of Soft Glas), Mal Hauser (a collaborator to Mk.gee and Illuminati Hotties), Steph Marziano (producer for Vundabar, Hot Wax, Sir Chloe) and Kyle Pulley, and she also welcomed guest vocalists for the first time. The album finds Duterte searching for her place, or somewhere she belongs, within an indie rock ecosystem that Jay Som stepped away from for the past six years. The result is an album unlike any Jay Som record before it: a gripping 11-song set about self-definition that floats between supercharged power-pop hits and hazy ballads, between electronic curiosities and lighters-up anthems.
Jay Som spoke to Rolling Stone about the forthcoming album release next month - read more about it now HERE.

(September 9, 2025) - Following the announcement of their forthcoming album Silver Bleeds the Black Sun… due October 3rd via Run For Cover Records, AFI share the new offering “Holy Visions,” which arrives with a performance video directed by Gilbert Trejo portraying the band bathed in pink and blue light. Silver Bleeds the Black Sun… marks the twelfth album from AFI and will include the previously shared single “Behind the Clock,” which also arrived with a music video directed by Trejo. Last month, AFI graced the cover of Alternative Press where vocalist Davey Havok sat with Editor-In-Chief Anna Zanes to discuss the band’s tenure, the sonic shift of Silver Bleeds the Black Sun… and who he has been listening to.
Speaking about the new video, Havok shares, “Getting to work with Gilbert on two videos was a joy. ‘Holy Visions’ is the perfect visual sublimation of the song.”
For more than three decades, AFI has been in a nearly constant state of reinvention. The band have made it a point to evolve with every album – sometimes dramatically so – never allowing themselves to become too comfortable in one genre or rest on any of their impressive career laurels. It’s an approach that has grown their audience but also challenged it with a sonic identity that can shift in wild, unexpected directions. Now with Silver Bleeds the Black Sun…, AFI are once again at the start of an exciting new chapter, only this time they’ve even managed to surprise themselves.
The goal of Silver Bleeds the Black Sun… was to make an album with a singular mood, something dreamy and ethereal, and the band members found themselves diving headfirst into influences that had always been deeply embedded in AFI’s musical core, but now were being brought to the forefront. The result is an album that feels out of time, at once familiar and fresh, drawing on classic sounds and reinterpreting them through a modern lens. Silver Bleeds the Black Sun… is dark and otherworldly, but also grandiose and stately, biting and beautiful in equal measure—in other words, it’s very AFI, yet not quite like any version of the band you’ve ever heard before.
It’s this combination of endless creative daring, deftly wielded influences, and above all else, an unshakeable sense of self that’s allowed AFI to stay relevant for more than 30 years, often leading the way through emerging musical moments. From their scrappy roots as a high school hardcore band in the early ‘90s (Answer That and Stay Fashionable, Very Proud of Ya and Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes), to their dark melodic punk reinvention at the turn of the century (Black Sails in the Sunset and The Art of Drowning), to their crossover into mainstream stardom in the early 2000s (Sing the Sorrow and Decemberunderground) and their years as shapeshifting alternative rock journeymen (Crash Love, Burials, The Blood Album, and Bodies), the band has survived and thrived by staunchly being themselves—no matter what that is.
This fall, AFI will embark on their headline North American tour with special guests TR/ST to celebrate the release of Silver Bleeds The Black Sun... The 24-date run will begin on September 30th in Madison, WI with stops in Chicago, Brooklyn, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, and Denver, before wrapping November 5th in San Diego, CA. The tour marks AFI’s first full-scale outing since their celebrated 2021 release Bodies, and will offer fans the chance to experience songs from across their extensive catalog, delivered with the band’s signature electrifying performance. Tickets available HERE.
