Nothing Free Patrick

I played a gig at Juanita's, a local bar, and looked down under the stage and found this note.

Umo Needs Ovens

I found this down the back of a sofa (looking for a pen I'd dropped) at Orange St. Music club, a brilliant venue for finds.

Pleased to Inform You

I found this in a used copy of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" two days ago at the Book Market used bookstore. I thought this was really sweet because everybody I talk to that was a kid during the first Harry Potter craze admits to having secretly wished that they would recieve a letter by owl from Hogwarts, and here is some kid that wrote one to herself once upon a time ago.

Angry Granny

I found this in a used book store. It was tucked in a World War II book.

Baby Dear

My boyfriend Trevor noticed this on the bulletin board in the communal laundry room of our apartment complex. The story was proudly thumb-tacked to the board (in the order of author, story, and then title) for everyone to read.

While the pride and joy that Tiffany clearly took in writing and displaying this made me smile, the story is a worthwhile read as well!

This May Sound Slutty

I found this typewritten note about 10 years ago when I was in college at the University of Toledo. I assume it is a contract for a non-exclusive friends with benefits relationship. I wonder what her "secret purposes" were?

Big Sheep Rancher!

This is Part 3 of 4.

We own a sheep ranch in the mild climate of the Pacific Northwest, and have a livestock guardian dog which lives with the sheep to protect them from predators. She is a Maremma, bred for this purpose, and she likes her job of being lazy all day in a big field, hanging out with sheep and barking her head off at stuff.

*Of course* she has a shelter with bedding, water, daily food and care (though sometimes she prefers to sleep in the rain anyway). But this person seems t...
