This Is Your Mission

Kohl's department stores have sturdy cardboard boxes that can fold down and are constantly reused. Stickers are added to the boxes to denote where they get shipped to and clutter the lids to all these boxes. I found these stickers on the top of one of them. The writer must have written the note and sent it down a line to where he would hope Joe could find it before it was shipped to my store.

I found this sticker attached to a box that was shipped to our store. They must have been having problems loading the truck neatly.

Please Please My Cat

Found this the day I moved into my new apartment. It landed in front of my door. Seems like whoever wrote it was in a huge hurry or has very demanding cats.

Peacemaker and Masturbation

I was walking in West Philadelphia when I found a bunch of books on the street to be disposed of. They were old, mostly from the 70's, so I was intrigued. I picked up two and when I got home to look at them this fell out. The name of the book it fell out of is "Notes on Love and Courage" by Hugh Prather, published in 1977.

Gorilla Love

I found this while hiking with about 15 other photos from the same roll of film. This was one of my favorites.

A Beautiful Butterfly

Found this crumpled up into a tight little ball, on the street in the fairly downtrodden Tenderloin District. Kinda sad that such a heartfelt message of hope got discarded with such intention.

My boyfriend works in a supermarket and keeps finding these notes tucked in the shelves.

Emptyness

My friend lives across the street from a high school. Not only that, he lives across from the opening in the fence where everybody goes in and comes out. So I find stuff there all the time. This test in particular makes me laugh whenever I read the teacher's comments.
