Our Shades
We found this in a free box on someone's yard. It originally came in a broken frame, which someone tried to fix with peanut butter.

Drumming
I found this picture in an alley behind a head shop in Boulder. It was cut out of a piece of glossy photo paper and was neatly leaned against a soda can. On the back it says "GET DRUMMED!"

Lost Semi-Telepathic Cat
This poster appeared on a pole outside my house one night. There were no others like it in the neighborhood, or posted at any stores nearby. I can't imagine how someone lost a cat pulling a wagon with balloons.

Sighting
I found this trampled and weather worn note on Eastlake Avenue on my way home from a friend's house one night. It seems so earnest and helpful-- like the kid who wrote it was concerned for the neighborhood's safety.

That Hair!
I found this Polaroid face down in the trunk of a car at the junk yard while looking for some parts. When I turned it over, all I could think was LOOK AT THAT HAIR! No, I did not find the parts I was looking for; but, I got this fine photo.

Cleanup for the Cleanup Crew
I volunteered to help the Kids Adopt-A-Beach Cleanup at Dock Weiler Beach. There were over 2,000 kids carrying plastic bags and wearing green gloves to pick up trash on the beach.
While performing this duty, I realized that the majority of the trash on the beach that day was actually from the "Clean Up." I did my best with the time I had, but I wonder if they should schedule an entire cleanup crew just to clean up after the original cleanup crew. Most of the kids trash bags were filled wit...

Mardi Gras
I found this photo in a discarded photo album. On the back it states that this is a photo of Susan and Joseph at a Mardi Gras Parade. I can appreciate how the sea of people parted so that this picture could be taken.
