Crystal Basin Pirate Party Winner

I found this at a gas station just off California's Highway 50 where I always stop to let my dogs run during long car rides.

Crystal Basin Pirate Party

There is a gas station just off California's Highway 50 where I always stop to let my dogs run during long car rides. During one such stop, about a year ago, I noticed a small black thumb drive in the dead grass at the base of a tree in the station's back parking lot. Never one to pass up a find, I pocketed it, but fear of weird computer viruses meant it just ended up on the back of a shelf. I just rediscovered it on that shelf, and my curiosity beat out my paranoia.

Brownie Points 4 U

I work for my university to check-in and check-out camps from a dorm during the summer. We have to go through each room of the building to find lost items. We had just checked-out a christian camp and our building had all girls-- no boys allowed. I found this note stuffed and folded in the top drawer; I suppose it was never sent.

Dumbest Dum Dum

I finally got around to cleaning out my backpack for the summer and found this paper crammed underneath a million other loose papers and more than a few folders. I have no idea how it got in there, who wrote it, or who Avery is, but I can tell you right now, he sure is dumb.

Hit Him

I found this outside of a middle school. We think it blew across the field from the elementary school.

Ghost Cat, Part 2

I found in a foreclosed home. They were in an envelope that had several double exposures in it. It appears that the little boy knows that Ghost Cat is watching.

Ghost Cat, Part 1

I found in a foreclosed home. There was a envelope that had several double exposures in it. I love how it looks like the cat is watching him bowl

A Child's Drawing

Shortly after we moved into our first house, my husband and I found this on the road outside. It looks to be a drawing done by an older child, and there seems to be a story going on here, but I just can't figure it out. I can only assume it was drawn by a girl in the neighborhood.

Dom and Dan

Found in a pile of used books at a street sale, this appears to be a page from a hymnal book.

Father's Day

Found this note folded up in the middle of my friend's backyard. She has a pretty long driveway with a completely fenced-in backyard.
