I found this on the floor outside my apartment building. Looks like they had fun!

Pots of Love

On the front it reads "MOM" with a heart. There is a family fridge somewhere missing this gem. My favorite part is the pictures of hearts and pots at the bottom. Ten pots is a lotta love!

Christmas In O.K. Spaceland

I worked for a few months in a second hand bookstore, and often we'd get tons of books people just gave in, trying to get rid of them. They had the best finds. This photo was tucked inside an Afrikaans romance novel, and in some of the other books in the lot these people dropped off I found pictures of the two little girls a bit older. This one, however, wins for the sheer weirdness of a Spaceland Santa environment. OK is a chain of grocery stores here in South Africa; there's only a few of ...

Merry Christmas, Dad?

In the post-Christmas season, its pretty predictable to find a lot of cast-off Christmas decorations in thrift stores, especially with the ever-popular New Years Resolutions of "getting organized" or "reducing clutter" being made recently by families everywhere. The subject matter immediately struck me as being awesomely ... awkward, but at the same time quite thoughtful, maybe? In the right hand corner it reads "by Amy Xmas 1965."

I am intrigued by both the girl on the right's lack of enthusiasm and the fact that the house number is 12345.
