Angry Face

We found this on our way to Brooklyn's West Indian Carnival.

Back in Order

I was heading from the art museum to a bar a few blocks away; on the sidewalk, I saw this tiny, soaking wet, green, spiral-bound notebook sitting on a little stone in someone's front yard.

A Good Start

I found this near an elementary school-- it was a great way to start my morning.

The Hottest

I found this under one of the desks in my high school English class.

The Collar

I was waiting for my sister, who was at the DMV. I took a walk down Main Street and on my way back I saw this photograph on the ground. It hadn't been there 15 minutes earlier. On the back it is dated 1977. It sure looks it, too.

Let's Make Meatballs

Found in the bottom of a grocery cart in a Save-on-Food. Such a tantalizingly intimate (yet completely mysterious) glimpse into a relationship. The most crucial of all: why do they seem to have so much trouble finishing a gallon of milk?

Mung Dispenser

I'm guessing it was taken in the late '60s and I couldn't find any information about it besides a scrap of paper taped to it that read "Mung Dispenser." That's a whole lot of mung.

Find the Parameters

Found this buried under some old picture frames in the living room at my mother's, but the writing is neither mine, nor hers, nor anyone we know.

Army Dudes

Found on a sidewalk several years ago; no idea who they are, but the Mussolini poster in the background is a nice touch!

Found this in a puddle in a park. There was a 1st page to it but sadly it was indecipherable from all the rain. I kept it because, hey, my name's Emily, too!
