The Guy on the Couch

Found this note after a MAJOR party at our house. "Matt" was no longer on our couch, but found the note hilarious. I've kept it in my photo album next to the party's pictures, which was in Oct. 1999.

Life

I found this in a fast food parking lot. The thing about "not being dead" in the pro side pretty much speaks for itself.

This Bunny Likes to Dance

About a week before Easter while walking my dog on Ohio Street, I came across this. It brought a huge smile to my face! Unfortunately, a young child lost their Easter Bunny who likes to dance.

Fear and Losing in Las Vegas

I found this note tucked up in the ceiling light fixture in the entryway of my hotel room. I barely noticed the shadow of the item through the smoky glass and decided to reach my hand up and figure out what it was.

This person must have been pretty desperate since it was such a weird and deliberate spot to hide a note to God.

Nail File

I was walking home from the gym Haight Street in the morning and this photo caught my eye on. The woman in the foreground was pointing at me, so naturally I picked it up. I love the energy of this image. I'm not sure if they are singing or what but it looks like a party. The woman in white looks like she might be wearing a bridal veil and maybe holding a microphone or bouquet. It's just a fun photo. I noticed later that it appears as if there is a nail file or something like that in the cleav...

You Have Stalker Mail

Got the most bizarre stalker postcard in my mailbox today.

It's addressed for the previous tenant (*phew*), a Mr. D. Snodgrass.

The front is completely hand inked with metallic craft pen and the whole thing is chunky with decoupage glue.

Looks like a lot of lonely went into this.

A Little Emergency

Found this while looking for clipboards in the Maitland Art Center's least used storage room, the "scary room."

Written on a piece of canvas and shoved REALLY deep in a box full of little tissue paper squares.

I wonder what the emergency was!

White Lightning

As a North Carolina native and having spent my whole life there, I had liked to think that I knew eveything about it; but, sometimes you can get deep into the countryside and find things so authentic and so foreign that you feel like you are in a completely different country.

This was found at a gas station somewhere between Charlotte and Emerald Isle.

Eurotrip

I found a series of black & white photos from a thrift store going out of business.

Advice for the Young and Reckless

I found this note in the inside back cover of a PostSecret book while browsing at a Borders Bookstore.
