Hi Daisy,
Yay, this is so good to hear! Suzanne Williams and I lucked out in that we have writing strengths that complement each other's, we both meet deadlines, and we get along. We talk out the story plan and discuss differing views on where to head a story or on character development, during a synopsis stage. This really helps eliminate disagreements and misunderstandings. It's a good writing partnership!
Thanks for the message!

Hi Sophie,
Interesting to hear your picks! One of my favorite books is Medusa the Mean. It was a fun challenge to write her story and explain how she became who she is. Hades is mysterious, which makes him interesting. I know what you mean though, it's hard to choose favorites! We care about each character so much as we write a book about them.

“From the pocket of her robe she pulled out the ring he’d given her, she put it over her finger, sliding it back and forth over her knuckle.
“Can I tell you something?” Dad asked.
“Yes. Please.”
“Any promise you make, whether it’s to your school, or your family, or to Billy, half of the promise is commitment and the other half, is faith. Faith that your commitment is enough. There’s no answer, honey. None.”
She stared down at her ring, his words like bells ringing in her head.”
