If you are going to come on a reading site and recreate your account every time you get blocked for being a tasteless piece of garbage AT LEAST don't post the same goddamn statuses about the SAME goddamn books..... do you seriously think we are ALL complete morons????

It's a READING site, Ed.... I feel insulted by this, as a reader. Also, yes.... he needs meds, lots of meds.

It could be a copy of same, matthew, I'm not sure. If I had that kind of time, terri, I would definitely actually be reading.... not pretending to read popular books to get into girls' virtual pants.... just saying.

Buh, this guy is such a colossal loser (and I keep not knowing it's him until something clicks in down the line - like repeated fucking statuses)You've probably seen him, Aja.....
ugh. The crap thing is, I couldn't tell you off the top of my head if I've accepted a more recent friend req from him or not /headdesk

I'm too nice, apparently..... must confer my inner bitch when dealing with friend requests from now on.

Me too, he seemed okay at first but that feeling of something being 'off' didn't take long to surface... can't pinpoint anything specific.. just a general feeling
He only ever asked me once and when I told him off for wanting whatever, he disappeared from GR. Then there was his next account that I thought looked like his old one, but I only knew about it because some of you were friends with him ... and then there was another so it became very obvious that something was wrong with him.

See he's never gone full-creeper on me.... it's probably why I still fall for it at first. He's never asked me anything obnoxious or sent me a pm full of nasty. So, yay me.
No PM full of nasty with me either but there was some PM contact that was ... weird after a while. You know how you can get close with people here? It happens and I actually like it but not after only one PM and barely any comments.

I had a PM creeper a while back, but I think it was a different guy. Thankfully I'm older and wiser, and hopefully bitchier now when necessary. ;)

Does anyone remember when that creeper (who lived disturbingly close to me) messaged me asking what my biggest fear was???? *shudders*

Right?! And then when I read his profile, he was the member of some cult or something called "the sons of Odin" ..... O.o
MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!I know I shouldn't be laughing ... *snorts* ... but "sons of Odin"! ... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I laughed too, Trish..... while simultaneously shuddering because he lived less than an hour from me, according to his profile.
Karly *The Vampire Ninja & Luminescent Monster* wrote: "I laughed too, Trish..... while simultaneously shuddering because he lived less than an hour from me, according to his profile."That is all too frightening, considering what happened with Kathleen Hale and that other author who stalked a reviewer and hit him/her over the head.

Here's the Kathleen Hale one: http://www.theguardian.com/books/2014...I don't remember the other guy's name. He's an indie author and not very well known.

I just noticed the changing of stars and removing and adding of books and then someone pointed him out to me and I was like, oh yeah...I've noticed weird shit. I'm pretty picky with friend requests though.
Karly *The Vampire Ninja & Luminescent Monster* wrote: "Does anyone remember when that creeper (who lived disturbingly close to me) messaged me asking what my biggest fear was???? *shudders*"Oh my god, that would freak me the hell out. That's why there isn't much personal info on my GR. Only some of you know who I am ;-)

The other author was Richard Brittain, who wrote The World Rose. He hit a young woman on the head with a wine bottle because she gave his book a negative review.
To add insult to injury, because the laws in Scotland are very strict about releasing details of crimes to the press before the court date, there was a two year gap in between the reviewer announcing what happened and any third-party news articles, so the victim in this assault had to suffer people accusing her of making the whole thing up.
Of course, as soon as she was exonerated, her accusers suddenly disappeared from this site. Funny how some creeps will dedicate two entire years to harassing someone but can't spare five minutes to admitting they were wrong!

Thank you. That was so horrible.
Is this the guy who only friended women? I remember when the whole Kathleen Hale thing went down. You should read some other articles she's written. I think there is something seriously wrong with her.
The Richard Brittain thing was scary as hell. I feel so bad for the reviewer.
