From one of Shelby's old status updates, I know he's had at least 5 other previous ids. When he first approached me months ago, I wasn't sure if it was him again, but when I asked Shelby she said she was certain. I should have probably warned my other friends, but instead I just sort of kept an eye on him. The only one's I remember him talking to were Jess & Richard.
