Finished the first act! This is hilarious and heartfelt musical. Also the plot is similar to fun home but 1000x better!

The Loving part needed a bit of polishing but overall I am enjoying her writing. Rupi Kaur goes straight for the jugular which may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

I’m always the last one to jump in the hype train when it comes to books which I don’t regret cause sometimes it ruins my reading experience and doesn’t offer any new perspectives! So far it’s good! :)

Finished How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful Album! I really love the meditative aspects in this album and while Florence Welch deals with depression it has almost a positive undertone/outlook that everything is going to be alright! :)

I finished Ceremonials which I gotta admit is a way better album than Lungs! Her lyrics are cut through and the imagery is powerful!!

A novel inspired by Hitchcock especially giving me rear window vibes! Where do I sign and give up my soul for this novel?! They are making it into a film with Amy Adams and Julianne Moore and Gary Oldman!!! I’m a fanatic when it comes to Hitchcock!

You want to laugh and yet cry at the same time. A picture speaks a thousand words. It’s cute to read but fair warning it will bring up a ton of mixed emotions!

Florence Welch our the lyrics of songs and poems into a book so I think the only perfect way of reading this book is by listening to the albums! So worth the emotional journey of words and music! :)

School has been the reason why I haven’t finished this short book! My goal is to finish it tonight or Sunday! I really like this book and I got the film from the library but it’s available on Netflix for those who want to see it! :)

I really love the idea that you are getting snippets as if each chapter is a Polaroid photograph of the moment! It’s super short and I don’t want it to end. Hopefully tomorrow! :)

Reading about all these assassinations attempts makes you think when did Miami becomes a desolate wasteland.

It’s crazy to think about the riots that erupted in Miami that both my parents lived through and how Cuban representation matters in Miami culture!

I’m reading this novel for my Global Issues on Literature course. Basically I’m reading about my city! As a Cuban-American I’m curious about Joan Didion reporting of Miami in the 1980s. :)

Even though this is going to be a beautiful novel, I’m such a pervert when it comes to letters. I feel like I’m snooping unto other people’s conversation.

I’m actually surprised this novel hooked me up from the first page. I love simplistic writing and can’t wait to meet the mother! :)

This is such an adorable read! I could finish this within an hour but this is definitely a book to savor and nice way to brighten your day or encourage a better tomorrow! If I do not post anything for tomorrow I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!! :D

I’m extremely curious what is going to be the ending of this book and how it gets resolved in the final novel. My guess Lara Jean picks herself at the end. Goodbye boys and hello to Daddy! :P JK! But seriously though this daddy thing needs to stop.

This whole Peter and Genevieve are “friends” is becoming a major red flag for me and I don’t like it one bit. Also NOT ANOTHER LETTER!!! I DON’T WANT ANOTHER LOVE TRIANGLE! PETER IS MY MAN AND LARA DONT YOU DARE DUMP HIM FOR JOHN! I will cut you!

I swear this book is my kryptonite. I think the fact that I always wanted this type of excitement back in high school makes me a total sucker for Peter Kavinsky. I’ve been perfectly fine with LJ calling her father as “daddy” but now with all three of the sisters saying it makes me a bit creeped out.

Gurl have you not realized that Genevieve is a mean girl? Of course she would try to sabotage your relationship with Peter! I don’t like Lara Jean when she’s super naive. Other than that it’s good to be back in this fluff romcom. :)

Another classic that I only read in pieces!! I’m exciting to see how I react now at 23 instead of 16 year old me when I read this the first time.

Zootopia meets 1940s film noir! I’m totally digging this so far! :)

Damn I haven’t read a book in a while that has impacted me to the core. I can’t believe I haven’t read this novel sooner! Almost 10 years and I didn’t even read basically half of the book back in 8th grade. I have all the feels now thanks to Harper Lee and Boo Radley!!

I wanted to finish the book tonight but I guess it will have to be tomorrow! Good night everyone! :)
