This is intense graphic novel. Too much drama in a short amount of time. I’m looking forward towards his backstory. I think his relationship with Apollo is super cute. Definitely Batman and Superman romance fan fiction vibes!

I still don’t know who Midnighter is but I love his character. It helps he’s also gay.

I’m finally done with Genesis! I thought it would never end. I loved the story about Joseph. Bringing me back memories of watching Prince of Egypt film. Now onto Exodus!!

I’m still in Genesis. Damn this book is LONG. If I had to edit this book I would eliminate family tree lines. I don’t care about a list of people who I figure will never reappear again in the Bible. Plus the level of incest in these chapters is disturbing.

This is my second attempt trying to read the Bible. This time around I’m simply reading for entertainment. American Gods influenced me and showcase that I don’t really know the Bible and mythology behind these classic tales. Plus it will help me in my academics as well so win win for me! :)

I devoured the first season of the TV show and I need more DETAILS!! So why not read the book? Hehe

I don’t want this story to end but at the same time I’m curious what will happen in the end!

I’m so happy that we get to see Dorothy’s perspective. Odds are both of them will have to team up to kill the Nome King. Also I’m loving the whole homage to Return to Oz vibe.

Anything Oz related is an ultimate high for me! I don’t remember much from the previous novel but I’m not going to reread them. So far it’s really good!

I’ve discovered him through YouTube and love his performances. I think it enhances it hearing his voice in my head while I read this collection. Luckily I have to read this for school! :)

This book is tearing me apart and I’m only 35 pages into. No one I say NO ONE needs to be in conversion therapy. You are all beautiful and unique people. There is nothing wrong with you!!

I’m definitely Ava. I relate to her character so much and some of the struggles that she is going through is almost the exact same situation I had in the beginning of January. Enjoying this book!!

I tried reading this a few years back and failed miserably. I wasn’t ready for this novel until now. This book is hitting all the feels. I wish I could be Elio yearning for Oliver. I can’t wait to see the film!!!

Thank you everyone for keeping me and my family in their thoughts and sending me positive thoughts during Hurricane Irma. Miami was extremely lucky that at the last minute Irma didn't turn on us. We had awful winds and rains but no one was injured and my street is still intact. We got power and Internet just now. I am safe and I hope everyone else is too!

Everyone please pray for me and my family because tomorrow is when Hurricane Irma is going to hit Florida! I live in Miami and we haven't had a hurricane in over a decade! We didn't have to evacuate from our homes which is a good sign and I've taken all the precautions for the aftermath. We may not have power so this may be the last time you hear from me until the power comes back on. :(

Last night I saw the premiere of IT and the film was phenomenal! I truly believe it's one of the first Stephen King films that paid a great homage to the novel and bringing Pennywise to life on screen. The Losers' Club felt real and it brought back the memories of reading the novel. I believe all Stephen King fans will love the film and while it may not be exactly like the book I enjoyed it!!

Damn this book was meant for me when I was in high school. I believe this book may be one of the top five must read books for gay men who have recently come out of the closet or need help with it comes to self-acceptance.

I finished Shattered Empire and still enjoyed it as last time and now I'm reading the special C-3PO comic and all I got to say is the illustrations and coloring is atrocious.

I'm enjoying this novel and I'm curious what Stephen King does with this novel since this is a crime story and not his typical horror book. So far I'm enjoying it and interesting to see the killer's perspective.

Ever since I've read IT, Stephen King has been a constant in my world now. Dark Tower movie released, IT comes out in less than a month, Sleeping Beauties in a month, and now Mr. Mercedes tv show that I haven't seen because of this book! I can't wait to marathon this series.

The first chapter almost put me to sleep. BORING INFORMATION. Until I reach the part that he is 18 years old it's going to be a long journey of a read. So odds are I'll be reading a chapter a day.

I've always wanted to know how the Dalai Lama survived during his major struggle with China and how he was able to escape. Hopefully this book will provide the answers I seek.

I'm only taking a break because Game of Thrones is going to start in 11 minutes and I love you Stephen King but Daenerys and Jon Snow is my life and that's more important to me at the moment! I will continue after it's over! :)

I'm loving this story and how simple it is! I haven't read any novels yet in Castle Rock so I haven't picked up the major connections. Other than that I can't wait for the terror to begin! :)
