My first domestic abuse scene and damn that's scary. I wouldn't know what to do seeing this mad man but I'm glad it's over for now. Yikes.

I'm almost done with part 1:

I wish I could have read more for Saturday but I'm glad I didn't cave into my old patterns. I'm really enjoying this novel and I can't wait to dive in deeper.

This is where I'm going to end it for tonight. I want to get into the action already but I know everything is slowly boiling for what's to come next! I wish I could be a faster reader!!

Poor Stan! I'm curious what was being discussed in that phone call and whether Penny had anything to do with it. Taking a mini break and then diving deeper into the story. Thank you Stephen King for writing this novel!!

Damn Stephen you are ripping my heart out and doing the Macarena. Shit I'm about to cry. Dealing with the lost of innocence and a hate crime within two chapters. It was necessary to have that hate crime to depict America in the 80s with the AIDS crises. I want to read more but I have to stop for tonight! Goodnight everyone!! :)

This is my 2nd attempt at reading this novel and I have a feeling I will have better luck this time around. The first chapter is amazing and even though it's suppose to be scary but instead I find myself almost in tears. Poor Georgie. :'(

I've been meaning to read this book after I read And Then There Was None but couldn't find myself reading it till now. Johnny Depp is doing the film adaptation!

This book is hilarious. Highly recommend it for those who want the juicy gossip about celebrities.

I'm back!! I had a blast during my visit of Vegas and I brought a bunch of books to read and yet read nothing. I was busy 24/7 that it didn't allow me to sit and read a book. I'm disappointed about it but at the same token I have another trip coming up that will actually allow me to read! I hope everything is enjoying their vacation and holiday celebrations. I got books for Christmas and I'm happy

Based on a True Story- 3.5 stars. I enjoyed the beginning but midway it lost some steam. I feel meh overall. I'm disappointed that these short stories are not autobiographical. Very misleading.

Front Row Center With Thaddeus Bristol- 5 Stars. Beats Santaland Diaries and finally the comedy has kicked in again. I may read one story every night before going to bed. David Sedaris does not hold back on his honesty and comedy! :) Goodnight everyone.

Season's Greetings to Our Friends and Family!!!- 3 stars. I'm being generous. I loved the comedy in the beginning but this got depressing and morbid towards the end.Too dark for me and ruin my joyous mood. I understand the Christmas aspect but this story shouldn't be in the book.

Quick question: I will be traveling on vacation for a week soon and I'm curious how many books should I take? I have my iPad but idk if I'll read on my tablet. Preferably a book. Right now I'm planning to take 4-5 books. Should I take normal books or just have 1 long novel to read the entire time? Any advice would be appreciated!

I haven't read David Sedaris in years! I always love to read a book that deals with the holidays and already I'm almost bursting into tears over his writing. Hopefully the book hits the spot for Christmas.

I believe I'm hyping this book a bit too much. So far it's 5 stars material for me and I hope the author doesn't ruin the last half for me! I hope Grant still loves Amanda for who she is regardless who she used to be.

This is literary junk food for me. I have to stop reading for my health and yet I just can't stop reading. I will hopefully finish this tomorrow! Good night everyone! :)

I'm shocked how much I'm enjoying this book so far. The author revealed something now that I hope does not come true. If it does then it ruins the whole aspect of realistic-fiction.

I could go on reading but my brain and eyes cannot catch up and digest what is happening in the story. I hate to stop my reading in a major battle but I will continue first thing in the morning. Goodnight everyone!

I am loving this book. Bringing back all the nostalgia of the Clone Wars and yet heart breaking because all my favorite characters are lost in this new era before A New Hope. I'm curious if this ends right before Ahsoka makes an appearance in Rebels. Good night!
