Really enjoying this. I was worried from seeing other reviews. It can be a bit slow at times, but I feel like the author is just steadily building up the story. I love the different character perspectives and the mystery element behind the politics. 👍🏼⚔️

This was one of my most anticipated releases this year. I loved the first book in the Half Bad trilogy, but haven’t finished it yet. So far so good with this one. It’s pretty graphic and brutal though.

I've read 28 books so far this year. I keep thinking that I'm making progress on my TBR, but there are so many good books that keep coming out!! My TBR shelf has actually gone UP by 12 books since the beginning of the year. I'm supposed to be reducing it! D: Guess I need to keep reading... ;)
