This feels longer than I thought it was going to be. It's a really depressing read.

I feel like this is just a cluster fuck of random things going on so far. I want more world building and more of a connection with the events that are happening.

Trying to clean up some of my NetGally reads. This one is really fucking weird. Gives me the creepy crawlies.

I'm not sure if this was the author's intent, but I'm finding myself mixing up Liza's story with Beth's story when we are switching back and forth between chapters. They're so similar, which I think was the point of the novel. I haven't decided if this is a good thing or not yet.

Saw that coming... but still been enjoying reading this. I'm quite surprised.

Oh damn. I love Karin Slaughter and her writing. Really loving this prequel so far! Making me more and more excited for The Good Daughter!

Still not sure why I decided to read this, but it's quick and easy to read. Not a lot of depth to it, but sometimes you need a novel like that.

My grandma got me this for Christmas last year. Randomly picked it up lol my OCD is screaming at me for starting with the 12th book in a series though.

Huh. Didn't realize how much religion would play a part in this, but I suppose it makes sense.

I just want to read! But I have soooo much school work staring at me... D=

I'm trying reeeeeally hard to get my TBR list under 300 and KEEP IT that way, but all these dang new books coming out are not helping me! Guess I'll just have to read faster eh? :P

This is moving rather slow for me, but I'm really intrigued and enjoying it. I feel like I have to really focus on what the author is trying to tell me. Looking forward to reading more. :)

I have a guess as to what may have happened. We'll see if the author takes us to crazy land on that idea lol

Not really sure about this. The writing is very wordy and all over the place. I'm thinking it's how the author wanted to portray the characters, but it's leaving me more uninterested than I think was intended.

Not sure how I feel about this yet.

Going to try and finish this tonight. I'm feeling very mixed about this book. There are a lot of aspects I really enjoy, but there are a lot of aspects that are sooooo boring. Luckily, it's been picking up. Crossing my fingers it stays that way, because I was seriously considering DNF'ing this book yesterday.

Part of me wants to DNF this, and the other part of me wants to trudge through the remaining 180 pages just to finish it. It's tough to choose when you're halfway through a book.

Allllllllmost finished this before I passed out last night... lol

Well this is starting out really fast paced.

Oh my god... what a ride... this book!!

I want to hurry through this to find out what happens! But I also want to savor it, because I don't want it to be over!
