Alice is a powerful testament to how girls are fully capable of standing up for themselves; Max, on the other hand, sadly delineates how boys tend to be insensitive. There is so much drama going on in the story right now, but it's actually refreshing and substantial. ^^

We're getting to know each other again. We're building something in real life. And it's not always pretty, but I'd rather have that than have no Max at all.

Ariana Grande's Just a Little Bit of Your Heart is the perfect soundtrack for this part of the story. <3

Hooray! I have an addition to my collection of love stories set in Europe. After enjoying Love & Gelato, I'm happy to have another vicarious experience in Italy. :D

The world building in this novel is quite reminiscent of Outlander. However, the story's originality lies in its characters who are anything but predictable. It's no wonder it went beyond the borders of Wattpad.

This book is making me uncharacteristically emotional. Alice and Max's bittersweet conversations will tug at your heartstrings.

I absolutely do not ship Ron and Hermione. In their case, opposites clearly do not attract. Harry is the glue that binds them, and without him, I bet they wouldn't have bothered to be friends at all.

I now realize that Alexandra Bracken is so pretty! She's officially my very first author crush. :D

Alice, Oliver, and the other characters in this book are so delightfully quirky. I can tell this is gonna be one of my best contemporary reads this year. :D

Readers with love-hate relationships with their parents will devour this novel like cotton candy.

I'm planning to buy a copy of The Unexpected Everything tomorrow. I hope my money won't go to waste. I don't wanna think I should have bought Cruel Beauty or Magnus Chase instead. Haha. #FingersCrossed :3

It kinda sucks when publishers do a cover change of a book you already own. The new edition looks more attractive than the old one, so you're now tempted to buy it. :3

Mr. and Mrs. Bennet's conversations never fail to make me laugh out loud. Although their personalities clash, it's still clear that they are deeply fond of each other.

Lesson Learned: Pregnant girls should not go hiking as a means of escaping life and its problems. There are more baby-friendly methods of escapism.

I always feel kinda sad when I encounter characters who have strained relationships with their parents. :(

I'm so happy Hermione bought a cat for her upcoming birthday. Cats and intellectuals are perfect together. Come to think of it, if Crookshanks managed to kill Scabbers early on, Harry and the rest of the magical world might have been spared from a lot of trouble. XD

I myself would be utterly shocked if the literal girl of my dreams were to inexplicably appear before me in real life. This is my first time encountering a plot like this, so I'm very excited to see how it goes. :D

Jane Austen is the queen of witty and sarcastic humor. Classics are so much better when they are read voluntarily. :D

I would have flown through this book if only I had more reading time. The murder case presented is wonderfully unpredictable, enriched by a variety of magical suspects. It's like I'm going through another round of "The Kiss of Deception" feels. I'm dying to know who the killer is.

I'm so sorry that Aunt Marge ruined your first week of teenage life, Harry. She deserved to be blown up (inflated). :(

The characters in this manga are so selfless, they're almost surreal. Still, I love them. :D

Can hardly wait for Cara and Aelyx's reunion. :D

Video games (JRPGs) often cause reading slumps, but I refuse to succumb to one. The stories in these games are "books" in their own right anyway. ^^
