This book makes being kidnapped seem like a lot of fun. XD

This is the second book I've encountered this month with an Elsa-like protagonist. I just might watch Frozen again soon. <3

After the results of the US elections, I bet dystopian books like this will regain their immense popularity. The futuristic events in such literature might become our reality someday. Meh.

I'm getting tired of prophecies in YA fantasy books. It must also kinda suck to be the chosen one, to have a destiny that you cannot escape.

I cannot help but notice that despicable fathers are becoming popular antagonists in YA literature. I am honestly bothered by this trope, despite how it might somehow portray the reality of other people.

It's kinda unfair that Mallory's very open with Rider. He's not reciprocating her transparency, yet he always persuades her to answer his own prying questions. :(

Donatella is quite a funny name. I'm having a hard time not associating it with a particular turtle. XD

So far, I have noticed that this book is similar to the following narratives:

1. Frozen
2. City of Bones
3. Throne of Glass
4. Shadow and Bone
5. Avatar: The Last Airbender

Oh well, at least I am very entertained! XD

Gosh, this book is undeniably a tribute to Frozen. XD

My feed has been full of Illuminae updates. The peer pressure is so powerful. Har-har-har. :3

Okay, so now I see a Throne of Glass trope. This book is turning out to be a combination of beloved YA series. :3

Ruby and Arcus. Fire and ice. Put them together, and we have a ruckus. Hahaha. This is me being corny. XD

Dear Lola Reviewer was right when she said that this book is like Frozen. :D Go on, Ruby. Let it go. ;)

O-oh. I see tropes from City of Bones and Shadow and Bone. And why are there so many "attractive" boys in this novel? XD

This novel is impressively well-researched. Scholars of Post-Structuralism will love Joey Graceffa's application of the Panopticon concept. My nerdy side is very delighted. :D

This book is making look at clocks in a beautifully different way. Haha.

I think that the craziness of the characters in this book is getting to me. The story is dark, but I find it funny nonetheless.

Ugh. I keep on forgetting the protagonist's name. Nice to meet ya, Kori Anderson. XD

This book is getting more interesting by the chapter. :)

This novel's fondness for clockwork inevitably makes me think of The Infernal Devices. :D

I kinda don't like that Rider's being so touchy with Mallory. It's supposedly platonic, but it's obviously not. XD

Paige is getting on my nerves. Jealousy really brings out the worst in people. :(

Man, I'm imagining Jest as Rhys. ACOMAF has clearly scarred me, but in the best possible way. :3

I wonder how this book is going to end? I'm not expecting a happy ending, but I hope my heart won't be torn into pieces. XD

I'm so happy every time Cheshire makes an appearance. It's funny how he always acts like Cath's guidance counselor. XD
