Slowly getting through it. It's pretty good actually - just not a lot of time to physically read.

So we have an Indian Village of the dammned where they wear skull masks and play hockey with decapitated heads. Nice!

Very nice horror elements kicking in.

Half a book down. Enjoying it so far.

Sentient biological spaceships that procreate giving birth to the next generation of spaceships and their captains. Telepathy between Captain and Spaceship. Very nice. Very Hamilton.

Not bad so far. A bit Harry Dresden without magic - and more horror than urban fantasy

Ah - This looks sufficiently short and mindless to satisfy my limited attention span at the end of the day.

Good as the first two so far. And William Dufris does as good a job as the voice of Kovacs as Todd McLaren did in the other two.

While I wait for the Australian Audible version of Sword of the North.

The audio narration really adds to the enjoyment of this book. Luke Scull is Abercrombie...but with a fouler mouth.

This is Grim Dark Abercrombie style.
Which means excellent audio narration, violent, and a laugh a minute

Really enjoying this so far

This book has a lot of good action sequences - the story is a mess though. It just needs to end now - it probably should have ended in book one or two.

Why am I still reading this book?! The premise is ridiculous - yet I read on - must say something.

Requires quite a bit of suspension of disbelief. I can imagine how a bullet lodged in the brain might unleash all sorts of super chemicals and beef up your brain power and make you the awseomest fastest killer in the world - but come on...defying the laws of physics?
Fortunately I can suspend disbelief - so bring on the pop corn.

Looks like Frentis is providing most of the action at the moment. I'm not that keen on the parts where people are travelling from A to B. Now I remember why I didn't reread the series - Book one would have been great - but book 2 was full of travelling - I probably need to rerate it down a notch.

Had trouble reconnecting with the story but back into it now.

A very good installment. I'm dreading the next one because a lot of people say its not as good. We'll see

Too busy enjoying this book to do updates. It doesn't look like Uhtred's getting to Bebbanburg this book so should be more Uhtred in the future.

Prologue was Uhtered's son's POV. No, the other Uhtred's son you earsling!

Had a hard time getting into this. Hopefully kicks into gear soon.

This book is badasserrer than the first one.
