Well...glad I read one and two recently because there is zero rehashing of the last book's plot. Just starts back up like the book never ended...I hate that.

Ok, now I know it's a metaphor for the gay rights movement. Non-malfettos showing their support? It's spot-on and very well done, but it's there.

I'm sensing a metaphor for homosexuality, but maybe I'm reading into it. We have characters who pridefully accept being young elites, those who begrudgingly acknowledge it but have yet to embrace that part of themselves, and those who fight against it as "a sin". Curious...

I feel like I'm getting a lot of STORY on Adelina, but no personality. She's like a cardboard cutout with a really interesting story that someone made up for her. I hope this changes at some point.

Maybe I'm just not in the mood for a challenge right now, but I really wish the narrators were indicated at the beginning of the chapters. I'm sick if guessing who "he" or "she" is. Just tell me!
