So many things just got explained in a few pages. At this point I'd almost recommend reading this before anything else in the series. Wolves, shells, the plague, even the neverending bureaucracy that weakens this series--they all start here.

Why does Evret wish her a happy 17th bday when a few pages earlier it said she turned 16? Maybe this will come up later, but right now it looks like discontinuity.

So her dad is Briac and Shinobu's friend (Chinese friend, no less) is Brian. Was a Chinese name too difficult or does she just really like "Bri" names?

So the villain in issue 59 is Black Tom. That's pretty obscure. I had to really search to find him.

Hooray for Daniel Way's Deadpool and his multiple voices! I've missed them. This is the last Way volume though, so I'll treasure them while I can.

While I appreciate the nebulous job of the seeker, which has yet to be defined, I think dragging it out this long could lose teen readers. Lots of ambiguity, not a lot of plot.

This book has a certain timeless quality to it, like you can't quite pinpoint when it takes place. I don't know yet if that's confusing or novel...

Yay, an established teen relationship! I like it when authors realize I don't have to see the relationship form for it to exist.

A bold stance on suicide, but one I have to agree with. It is painful to admit to, but I've thought it before. You can be sympathetic and still be angry at such a bold admission of defeat.
