I personally really liked Reggie and Ben's relationship (book one) more than Penny and Willem's. I feel like R & B had a better build up and it felt right whereas Penny and Willem, while adorable, feel a lot more rushed and when he says I Love You it almost feels forced or too soon...

As much as I like this story, I'm just so annoyed with Penny's way of talking. The "oh em gee" and the "Double-yu tee eff" is frustrating. I hate cute cursing so much, I think it's a pet-peeve of mine. Just fucking curse, you're thirty years old. I get it for YA books but when it's an adult rom-com, I can't help but want to pull my hair out.

Why did I start this at night?... the story is addictive and I'm completely hooked. The only nitpick I have is with Penny's speech. She'll say "Oh em gee." Which can be annoying if overused, which it kind of is at the moment.

Finished! I really liked this book. The writing is easy, perfectly paced, and has a lot of heart and soul. Yes, it's a romance but the friendship between Julieta and Ivy, and Julieta's family's relationships were a highlight for me.
