This is quickly becoming a new favorite 🩵

Amelia and the Ringmaster's story is so bittersweet. I'm happy the author gave them a couple of chapters together.

I don't have a lot of high hopes for this one. I did try it once before, and either my mood sucked or this did. I'm trying again so I can knock another Netgalley read off my list.

I've re-read this book maybe 3 times. It's one of my favorite series. I'm hoping it'll help with the weird mood reader slump I'm feeling right now. Also I'm so excited for the TV show adaption!

After getting over the excitement of reading an excerpt and now reading the eARC, I'm realizing that maybe it's not my mood reader tendencies keeping me from enjoying the story. Maybe it's just the book. I'm not feeling it the way I did with Lakesedge.

When I first read the sampler, I was super excited and I enjoyed it.
When I started the official read, I was kind of bored.

Trying this one again to see if it was just me being moody reader.

I need a Getaway List.

I've enjoyed Emma Lord's style for the most part, and I think I'll end up liking this one too. Riley and Tom are childhood friends who were separated for their high school years. Riley takes a chance and travels to NYC to visit him for the weekend. They made a Getaway List of random tasks years ago, and they decided to do them during Riley's stay.

I'm bored. I kind of like Francine, and Ollie is a little on the bland side. I don't want to DNF, but I'm really debating it.

Another late Netgalley read.

Finished! This book rubs me the wrong way. Abigail didn't deserve that, and I'm glad she chewed Sam out and put him in his place. I'm just disappointed. I wanted to love it like her other books...

What the absolute f*ck was that? Seriously?! Man, they did Abigail dirty.

I like the book and the story is good but there are small things that are bothering me. It's repetitive. The point of views feel like they are going in circles with the same thoughts every chapter. I know I'm going to finish this because the pacing is quick, but part of me just wants to get it overwith. Something bad is going to happen I just know it...

I'm sorry, but are you for real? After what happened to you before, you would do this to someone else and be okay with it? I don't care if you're leaving in two months. You just don't do that crap. Gosh, I want to go into full detail, but I don't want to spoil it.

Alright, imma say it: Sam is a bit of a creep. He's a little too obsessed with Nova. It's coming across as a red flag. Nova thinks a lot about him, too, but it feels different. Maybe things will be explained more later, but... 🤷‍♀️

Ashley Schumacher is an 'instant pre-order' kind of author for me, so this should be a breeze. Hopefully.

I'm crossing my fingers that this doesn't disappoint. So far, it's silly, cute, and puts a smile on my face. I'm hoping I don't get bored halfway through. This is a late Netgalley read.
