Gosh I love this book so far! If you've read a Josie Silver book, I highly recommend checking this one out.

Finished! Well that was a very intense and suspenseful read. I'm still angry at Oliver but I'm more understanding of Red for not speaking up. Though there were many-a-time when I wanted to shake my kindle with frustration. Review coming soon...

This book is so flippin frustrating. I hate Oliver so much and I'm disappointed with how Red lets everyone push her around...

Finished! Review to come... I'm annoyed with the repetitive info especially at 95%. I'm annoyed with the development of David and Stevie's relationship. I skimmed too much but still caught on. I wanted to love this one but out of all of Stevie's murder cases, this one is my least favorite.

I'm slightly annoyed with the repetitive information. We are given flashback sequences, police reports, and Stevie talking to witnesses. What is the point of one or the other when we are reading the same info over and over again? I get this is a mystery so things will be repeated as revelations come up and thoughts are being made but maybe something should have been cut or edited... sorry rant done.

There's definitely a lot more drama in the romance department. In the other books it was not a main focus. But with Nine Liars there a lot more growth in that department... but I'm kind of wishing it wasn't rivaled with the mystery...

A slow start but it's starting to pick up now.

I've decided to do a re-read before starting on A Fire Endless. I'm super happy I received a copy of AFE but I can't remember ARE 😅 not in a bad way, more of a "it's been too long" kind of way.

Finished! And I loved it! Can't wait for the sequel to arrive :)

Viera reminds me of Cersai from Game of Throne. A royal b*tch. I dislike her but I'm so flippin curious as to what she'll do next.

A cross between The Selection and The Grace Year so far. I'm really liking the pacing and Monroe as a MC.

Chapter 7 of Secret Vampire - I've read the Night World books many times before but wanted to do a slowish reread of the whole series.

Oh my gosh THIS BOOK! Ya'll need to pre-order Divine Rivals.

I love the anime Violet Evergarden on Netflix and I highly recommend it - Divine Rivals is reminding me so much of that show.

I've decided to pick this one up again. I didn't put it down for any bad reasons, just wasn't in the mood at the time. I'm very engaged in it now and I'm liking the atmosphere and magic.

A very light and fluffy paranormal romance so far.

Roz is still a little frustrating to follow but I think I'm warming up to her now... I do prefer reading from Damian's POV more.

I'm having a slightly hard time caring about Roz. I do like unlikeable characters but she's teetering on actually being unlikeable.

It's been slow going... the story is good so far but I'm having a hard time focusing and staying engaged. I am also moving to a new location so that might be why as well...

I'm crossing my fingers that Fairyloot or Illumicrate will pick this book for February or as a SE outside of their subscription.

Kate McLaughlin is becoming a quick favorite of mine. I might need to back track and read her older stories.
