I love this so much.

Y’all, I’m so excited to have been approved for this one. I love gifting this series to young girls and love that there is now one that is focused on immigrants!

Someday I'll be caught up with my BookishFirst titles but that day won't be today. At least this one has short chapters. It makes me feel like I'm reading super fast.

I think this will be a quicker read but definitely not an easier one. Just from the first chapter, I think I know that this one will stay with me for a while.

This was a slow one. I figured I'd just finish it and be done. But somehow it really got to me. Maybe the animal sanctuary and the way the characters related to them just made it feel more familiar to me. But by the time I turned the last page, this has turned into one of my favorite reads of the year. Just 50 pages earlier, I wouldn't have been able to tell you that.

It was time for a good memoir again. Nothing refreshes my reading mood like a good memoir.

Review is up already! I really wanted to like this but it just was not working for me.

This one tries way too hard, yet I still want to know how it ends. Haha

I have to be careful not to space out while listening to this because it’s so easy to miss something!

There was no way I could turn this audiobook down of course but now I have 32.5 hours ahead of me!

I'm loving it. One pro about my terrible memory is that I can re-read a book and it's almost like I've never read it before!

I LOVE the premise. But am a little meh about the follow through.
