This book is fascinating.

I love learning about the lives of others, especially when they grew up with less privilege and resources than I did. There are incredible lessons to be learned from their experiences and by lifting up those communities and groups, we work towards greater equality for everyone. I never even thought about learning about these people but am so glad I picked this book. What strength and resilience these women possess!

The newest audiobook. I meant to take a break but it came in at the library. We’ll see how it goes. I do enjoy audiobooks narrated by the author.

I love this story.

Despite being disappointed by the writing itself, I REALLY like the storyline overall and REALLY want to know what happens next.

I like the plot but have some mixed feelings about the writing itself.

This book is fantastic! But I think I’m going into an audiobook slump. I may just hold off on requesting more after this and do some podcasts and music instead for a while. I have been listening to audiobooks almost nonstop for several months now.

I can relate to a lot of the stories in one way or the other but overall, the book isn’t really holding my attention so far. I keep wanting to start other books instead.

Oof. This last short story had my heart racing. ICE is no joke.

If you have not read this yet, then I highly recommend the audiobook. The narrator is AMAZING.

I want to shove this book into every doctor’s hand. And also every woman that has ever endured this can of pain or even just the pain of not being believed by a doctor.

As someone who knows zero about the conflict between Palestine and Israel, this is very interesting. But despite wanting to tell both sides of the story, it does still seem a bit biased so far.
