This should be an interesting read. My general view is that a better Social Democracy needs to be built in America, but this book looks like it's going to criticize the failings such a system has had in Europe.

Might be an informative read in that respect, even if I find it odd for him to classify Bernie Sanders as far-left (he's a Social Democrat) or describing the Republican party as Center-Right (it's far-right)

This book is like getting a lecture from an arsonist about fire safety, who proceeds to casually torch part of the building in the middle of his talk. It's really, really, really weird and really, really, really disingenuous.

And it's attempts to be funny is, well, not effective. It's moving into the 1 to 2 star range.

Aaron is on page 157 of 272 of Money, Greed, and God: Why Capitalism Is the Solution and Not the Problem
This is adding up to a solid 2/5 star read. The book is functionality readable and entertaining at times (and the author at least is correct the same way a broken clock is correct twice a day), but his extreme use of logical fallacies and exclusion of ideas and concepts that throw wrenchs into his Economic world view make this a disappointing read.

When it comes to the story of Israel, it's hard to immagine that any side truely has moral authority.

Everyone has essentially done terrible things, and any solution to the problem is basically a choice between "very hard to accomplish" or "near impossible to accomplish".

I do wish it was a better situation.

It's time for another reading of right-wing trash books. This is at least better than Ann Coulter's material.

ESGITR really proves that even when you have a spectacular movie version of a book, it's no substitution for the source material.

I'm happy I tackled this book. It raises important questions about corporate culture and governance as well as the proper way to regulate utilities.
