I'd like to say that id be happier if the authors had chosen a larger font for the book and had it's content page count end up between 500-600 pages. The smaller print hurts my eyes, and I like flipping a ton of pages ;)

The book says we got off the gold standard in 1931, but it did not happen until 1933.

It does not SPECIFY the United States, but I feel it's implied

In general, this book functions as an extremely accessible and entertaining history of Economic thought.

Honestly, it's very useful as a refresher

Aaron is on page 101 of 432 of A Random Walk Down Wall Street: The Time-Tested Strategy for Successful Investing
This is from an older edition, so idk if it's in the new 2019 print, but the author casually endorses "the big lie", the idea that much of the blame for the housing crisis can be stuck on federal housing policys.

I missed that in my previous read, but that's kinda concerning to me for the books credibility :/

It takes a long time to get to the red meat of this book: Roosevelt's new deal and its impact on the great depression.

Still, the book is so readable that it's an issue I have no problem with, so long as this last 100 odd pages deliver the goods.
