The reviews for this are.. real bad. Going in with an open mind, because it's Christine and I do think she has it in her to tell a fun story, but I'm not expecting much.

Finally started this, very excited!

Rereading these before the short story where April visits vidcon because I'm like that. It's just so good. And I'm already loving rereading the first book knowing everything from the second book.

FINALLY started this series. At this point, I wasn't sure I ever would, and it might be a bad idea, since I have no reason to believe the final book will be published anytime soon. But then, I've been told to read it so many times, and I'm especially eager to get to the novella, so I'm going for it!
I've picked up an audio version and that's working well for me so far, especially now that Kvothe is telling his story!

I never would have guessed how much I love this book so far. Just please don't let it end in a cliffhanger! 🙏🙏🙏

Okay, the reading out of all the email adresses on the group emails is a liiiiitle annoying on audio :') Worth it, though.

I need Liz to tell Amanda about the scolarship. I understand that she's scared, but this feels a lot more like playing into that exhausting trope of forcing misunderstandings and lack of communication to create conflict. Amanda will definitely understand, she would have from the start. And it's so unnecessary! There's plenty going on in the book already and I'm enjoying it a lot! Just let them face things together!

There's still some extra content that I'm excited to get to, but I just finished the actual story and aaaaaahh, I loved it so much! ❤❤❤

I swear to god, if this is heading for an Anderson redemption, it's getting a 1 star rant review. I feel like they're gonna wipe his mind and have him start over and be a fucking baker. Which just.. no. He needs to fucking die. For real this time.

Even outside of that, though, I have very little faith that the last two hours of this book can provide a satisfying conclusion to this series. And that's sad. :(

FINALLY get to start this beauty. I reread all the relevant short stories from the collections and then read all the flash fiction pieces Cassie put up every month since early last year. I'm now sufficiently attached to these characters. I'm ready. Break my heart, book.

Holy shit, I hate Spencer's family so much. The three of them deserve to burn in hell for all eternity.

I only have five (of 16/17) books left to read in this series, but it's been too long and I can't keep the events of the books separate from the show anymore, so I'm just gonna reread the whole thing. I haven't really been able to get into other audiobooks lately anyway and I know I'll fly through these. At least the ones that are available on audio..

The first scene was basically entirely exposition and it hasn't gotten much better since. No idea what the plot's gonna be, though, so I'm keeping an open mind.
I'm already sick of Brighton, though.

The story structure in this book is inspired by The Last Five Years, the musical. And that's cool enough, but Amy has also sneaked some of the lyrics into this book ("*name* is probably doing just fine", "you, and you, and nothing but you") and I love that!

Loving this already. I love this series and I love Scribd for having this audiobook available the day it's released.

This is the same universe as Skyward and that makes every bit of information hella interesting. There's so much backstory for the human race!

Don't know why this is narrated by a man when the main character is a woman, but whatever. I'm excited for this one!
