Rereading because NetGally granted my review request a week before book 2 came out and I wasn't planning to read it until my owlcrate edition shipped but whatever

I was actually tracking with this so far but then this just makes things annoying

Rereading because book 3 is almost here. I am NOT listening to the CD. The audiobook is available on Hoopla, but Goodreads fails at adding every edition of books sometimes.

I don't know why this gives me a Wednesday vibe, but it does. It's not as "dark" as Wednesday and it's a little more fantasy than dark academia, but those vibes are kind of all there. I like the magic but it's a little confusing. I wish I was further and it seems like it's taking a long time for anything to happen even though stuff is happening?

I read this in high school but I don't remember much about it (besides the shadow thing?). I'm hoping to reread it and then read through the rest of the series.

I really like the vibe of this world and the magic so far.

I love reading "celebrity memoirs" because of learning tidbits from their time on set for certain movies/shows and their interactions with the cast. Sean's stories do not disappoint.

Reading a paperback ARC, not the hardcover, but Goodreads never has paperback ARCs as an option so we'll just suffer with everything being inaccurate.

Also listening to this via CD because there was no other option but it's not an abridged version so I don't know what Goodreads is doing. Anyways, it's really slow because I can't speed it up and that's super annoying XD

Rereading via audio (not through audible though that's the only option on Goodreads to mark) because I have an arc of book 2 to read before release date.
