Another atrocious mrder for Eve and the team to solve. This time its personal, the daughter of a cop is raped and murdered.

With a tidy sum and not a backward glance. Her cold heart and steely resolve were part of her appeal to me. As I recall, she introduced me to the woman I strayed with, and gave me too many opportunities to take advantage. As said by Dirk about Ava.

The executions continue but Eve and her team are tracking the culprits.

J D Robb doesn't hang around, three deaths alrady, action from the first word.

For the first time we are introduced to William Murdoch's family. The case he has to solve is very personal and gives rise to new emotions for him.

The twists keep on coming. Very enjoyable.

The book takes you straight in to the story and grabs your attention from the very fiirat paragraph.

As usual I find it east to read James Patterson. The pace of all his books is electric.

Crime in the future gets very complicated.

Able to spend more time reading as the pace speeds up. The mystery of Tand's disappearance adds a new element to the story.

Started slow but now in a flow. J D Robb continues to grab you with her writing. Nearly missed my stop this morning on the train. Have another 7 Eve dallas books to read.

Is there a more irratating character than Sansa. You want to slap her silly. Her head is filled with romantic notions of her hansome blond prince Joffrey and the fact she is betroved to him. She overlooks the fact he tried to kill her sister and was responsible for the death of her direwolf. Well finally f

he King is on his deathbed and Ned is left to assume the role of Regent for his heir. Can he work with the Lannister's or will he let his honour rule?

Ned Stark is now planning to leave Kings Landing as he has been removed from his position as King's Hand.

The main characters are being outlined but the story is still being driven forward.

Wasn't sure what to expect but this is looking promising. Will definitely read others in the series.

Really enjoying reading some of my favourite Howard short stories and finding stories I have not seen before.

On the third short story with both the second and third being stories I don't recall. A good decision to buy this book. So far all the stories have been great.

Rome, 1959, and everyone who was anyone among the living and the undead was making the scene. Celebrities rollicked, warm blood flowed and the vampire press had gathered to cover the upcoming social event of at least several centuries: Count Dracula was to marry the Moldavian princess Asa Vajda in a move set to return him to a position of Lord of the Undead.

Another thriller from James Patterson. Michael Bennett continues to grow and is now challenging Alex Cross. In this book New York faces its biggest challenge as the Mexican cartels bring war to the streets. Who can tackel the problem, Michael Bennett whilst looking after his 10 children and finding himself in a love triangle with two beautiful women.

Whilst Eric Flint's name is on the cover as co-auther it is obvious that the main writer's are Gorg Huff & Paula Goodlett. So far there is very little action, the story centres around the efforts to introduce new ideas into Muscovy against the opposition of the Duma. Another good edition in the series.

An enjoyable delight, the vision of London dominated by Dracula and his Get is amusing. Queen Victoria married to Dracula, Jack the Ripper killing vampire prostitues in White chapel. Sherlock Holmes and Bram Stoker imprisoned in concentration camps. A meery concoction of twisted ideas. An absolutely great read.

An intersting story you ask yourself it it fact or is it fiction. Really enjoying the journey.

Kurt Austin, Joe Zavala and the Numa Special Assignments Team are back in action. And this time the stakes have never been higher. Nor the enemy any more dangerous.
