King and maxwell are also working on a second case in which none of the parties are being totally truthful.

Talk about hit the floor running. Just 30 pages in and we have three corpses.

Hitler decided not to declare war on the US following Pearl harbour. The result Congress would not allow Rooseveldt to declare war on them. Germany defeated Russia, well they are pushed back beyond the Urals and Stalin and Beria are dead. The UK sued for peace and German troops were stationed in Canada. Japan is on the verge of defeat so Hitler plans to invade the USA whilst they are concentrating on the Pacific.

The bombing raids have started on Munich and arrangements made for people to share the deepest basements. Liesel raises everyone's spirits by reading aloud from the Whistler.
Jews are paraded through the streets and Hans tries to help an old man. he gets beaten for his troubles and as a result max has to leave. The consequences of his actions are severe. He is drafted.

The body found is Victor's friend Henri. Victor is accused and collapses. He is incarcerated and when he recovers the charge is dropped. His father arrives to take him home so arrangements can be made for his wedding to Elizabeth. He is afraid and prepares himself to defend his life against the creature on his wedding night.

Just finished chapter 20. Victor agreed to creat another creature as company for the creature. It took him sometime to gather himself together to carry out the deed. He and Clerval travelled to Scotland where on a remote Island Victor starts his creation. He comes to realise this would be a mistake and destroys the second creature. He is observed by the creature who advises him of the consequences of his actions.

Leisel has stolen her second book rescued from the ashes of a bonfire. She was seen by the Mayor's wife who encourages to see her books.
A change is coming Max a jewish refugee turns up unexpected seeking help. Papa owes a debt which must be paid.

The creature has just finished relaying his story to Victor. He finally had the courage to approach the family he had observed through the winter months, and was attacked. In revenge he destroyed their vegetable garden and burnt down the cottage.
He made is way to geneva to find Victor and fortuitious met William. william was afraid and the creature murder him. He had enough intelligence to plant evidence on Justine

The creature continues with his story. You have to feel sorry for him, he was abandoned at creation and left to his own devices.

Both cases get more complicated. Someone tries to have Jack killed. He survives the assasin dies.
The secrets of the Harlows come out and by coincident Jack bumps into the No prisoner group in a diner, close to their base of operations.

Victor finds it difficult to cope. Eventually he goes on a journey to see the local scenary. On a remote glacier the creature appears and asks him for a favour. If Victor want oblige he will continue his killing spree concentrating on Victor's family.
They retreat to a shepherds hut and the creature tells his story.

Elle was looking for a job. The job with Cunningham and Associates could answer her prayers. Having passed the psychological testing and is ready for the final interview. What she doesn't realise is that she is seen as a sex toy for use by the others in the office and their clients. She is already sexually frustrated so is not intimidated, even when she has to take on three men at a time.

As usual with the Private stories there are more than one case being tackled. This time Private have been called to deal with the disappearance on Thom and Jennifer harlow and their three children, to seek and find the No Prisoners terrorists on behalf of the police. And jack is under pressure because his brother Tommy is facing murder charges.

Chapter 8 completed. justine's trial is a difficult time for Victor. despite everything she is found guilty. She is pressured in to admitting her guilt by her confessor and she is hanged the next day.
Both Victor and Elizabeth are distraught. Victor because he believes he is responsible, he created the creature who committed the murder.

David's relationship with Ronnie barker is covered in detail. Now he is starring in Only Fools and Horses. The next chapter covers the death of Lennard Pierce and what follows.

Chapter 7 - very long. Victor has been nursed back to health by his friend. He is ready to go home and see his family. He is delayed by bad weather. he finally receives a letter from his father bearing bad news, his younger brother has been killed.#When he makes the journey home, he detours to see where illiam died and he is sure he sees the creature. He is convinced the creature murdered William.

The old man and Jane had settled in in Blanding. She is now attending school and her athletic ability attracts attention. Attending a big meet leads to her being kidnapped again. The old Russian was not dead.

David Jason relates his life very well. In his first five years in the business he has worked with many of the greats. As yet he is not the star having missed out on the role of Corporal Jones in Dad's Army.
His first big role was in No Sex Please we're Britisg. A great show of the time.
He argued with his agent to work with Ronnie Barker. A move which proved inspired later in his career.

He has created the creature and brought it to life, but he is disgusted with how it looks. By this time he is ill and he runs away. His friend Clerval arrives and nurses him back to health, but the creature has disappeared.

3 more chapters completed. The mystery man is revealed to be Victor Frankenstein. He continues to reveal his story. At 18 he is sent off to university in Ingolstad. Before he leaves he faces tradegy. His adopted sister Elizabeth becomes ill. She is nursed by his mum and recovers but his mum catchs the disease and dies.
At university he fits in well and isolates himself to experiment.

The old man and jane have now moved to Blanding., but a visit from the Mormon Bisghop springs a surprise and Jane indicated she wants to go to school.

David has had to change his name to become a member of equity. He has found an agent and is getting regular work, but still learning the trade. He is unsure with the ladies, not yet ready to commit to a long term relationship just in case it interferes with hsi career.

The four letters are finished. We have some background to the character of Robert Walton. They have picked up a mystery man from the ice. Believed to be Victor Frankenstein. The ship is destroyed by ice.
Robert in the next two chapters relates the mystery man's story. We learn about his parents. He is their oldest child. The foster sister Elizabeth and how he became interetsed in lightning.

Jane has been rescued and the old man decides to take her to his new home in Blanding. This is not yet finished so there is a slight delay.
The Russian will not follow them, Kra a rather large Elk stomped him into the ice.

Just started read the first two letters written by Robert Walton to his dear sister. The voyage is about to begin.

The old man has found out where Jane is being held and his son and daughter are helping her to escape. The kidnapper is an ex KGB officer who cannot be trusted.

kevin and Jane have developed a mental link. Using kevin the old man has been able to narrow down the search area to find Jane. She has been taken by a Russian who is looking to sell her to her family, or to the Bioengineers.

Jane has killed two people who held her prisoner. The first was the director, the second the guard who raped her.She did this because they came to take her back.
The bodies were left at Salt Lake City airport, but their identities were covered up by the government.
Jane has now been kidbnapped by whom we don't know. The Dugweell base commander denies any knowledge.

Joan hasn now been kidnapped and their prime suspect Bob Scott appears to be in the clear. Very well written story line.
