Really enjoying this!

Pursuit of Peace by Anne Urdu ⭐⭐⭐
I liked the political aspects of this story, but the 'action' scenes ruined it for me. Padmé's POV didn't add to the episode's story.

The Shadow of Umbara by Yoon Ha Lee ⭐⭐⭐✨
This story arc maybe was my least fav from TCW. It was too much fighting and too dark for my taste. The last episode was great, though. This retelling was better for me. I loved Rex's POV.

Hostage Crisis by Preeti Chhibber ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I enjoyed this story. The TCW episode was good and Chhibber's version of it added even more to it. It's told from Anakin's POV which was very interesting.

Dooku captured by Lou Anders ⭐⭐⭐

This was a fun episode to watch. The retelling of it though was 'a waste of time', as Dooku himself points out at the end of this story. The dialogue between Kenobi, Skywalker and Dooku were fun, but there was nothing new here that added to the story. Also, Dooku recording his failure in detail to Sidious doesn't make any sense. Again, as he himself explains later on *shrug

Sharing the same face by Stephen Frey ⭐⭐⭐✨

This wasn't one of my favourite TCW episode, although I remember how beautiful the planet was. It's too much fighting for my taste, but to see the story through Yoda's eyes gives great insides, especially on his thoughts about the clones. Loved that part.

The fear of the year 2000. Now that was interesting. I was just 12 years old back then but I remember some of the adults freaking out 🙈

Ah well, that wasn't a surprise at all...

Folgen 1-6: okay, der Podcast überzeugt mich. Ich bin kein riesen Podcast Fan und dies ist erst mein dritter.. aber ich fliege nur so durch die Folgen. Es ist interessant und gut recherchiert. Nicht jede Folge ist der Knaller bzw hat nicht wirklich was mit 'Schauergeschichten' zu tun. Aber sie sind trotzdem gut gemacht und erzählt. Manchmal ist es mir ein wenig zu ausgeschmückt, aber das hält sich in Grenzen.

Not sure where I got myself into.. I never read a western before and this here is a 'splatter western'. Well, I am trying new things here 😂

So I am probably the only being on this planet that's not in love with this book..
I am trying for weeks now.. and it's just a chore to read it.. it's just... nothing happening?!
I am trying to see what all the other people saw and it's not a bad book but at 25% in I am still missing something interesting..

The Lucy thing is old but otherwise I am really getting into this one now.

This book is great and then it isn't, both at the same time. It's a paradox.

Not bad but my least favourite Star Wars book so far

It's better than my first Ruth Ware experience was, but I am 70% in now and nothing really happened so far...

Okay, to be honest, I am not really enjoying this. As with One Word Kill, this is a mixed bag for me. There are parts I love and then I get kind of bored and I don't even know why. Also: there's a bit too much happening right now and despite the whole time travel/parallel timelines/Dungeons & Dragons, cancer madness I've reached a point where it's just getting ridiculous 🤷🏻‍♀️
